Question Guys Why did Goldman Sachs added in July? Is it for the drill results or Barryroe is a done deal.

In the past there have been over pressure in reservoirs which have been filled with water.

Fair summary Free and the silence on Barryroe from the Suntanned one is worrying. The next drill is also a gamble and if a duster I believe we should see changes in the BOD in order for PVR to carry on in a half credible fashion.VGLTA

A significant difference at Drombeg which catches the attention ... seismic velocity and geomechanic indicators are consistent with overpressure in the reservoir sequence. Is this significant? We will know shortly.

Its amused me reading the posts this weekend and Friday. It just feels like bitter and twisted gamblers who think a 30% chance should have been a certainty. I think head honcho is poor but to blame him for this drill result seems bizarre. The Barryroe situation is poor and suggests bloke is inept but they are an explorer and they found evian so what. I hedged on defeat to me it was a 4/1 horse and it didnt come in simple.

Old presentation from Europa but still of interest. Slide 7 the general stratigraphy of the south Porcupine, Slide 8 the "Jurassic source rock superhighway", the finding of residual oil at Dunquin surely de-risked the source rock in the south Porcupine and the model may well still be correct.

Top 50 shareholders hold over 95% of the share capital.

That is unbelievable number, so 30M shares are available to us Pi's. Gobsmacked, the big boys wont let them go at this price..

Druid

Two fans located c. 1,750 m BML and structurally up-dip from a potential significant fluid escape feature from the underlying pre-Cretaceous Diablo Ridge

Drombeg

Located c. 2,750 m BML and structurally up-dip from a potential significant fluid escape feature from the underlying pre-Cretaceous Diablo Ridge

===============

so with the current drill so far, tee germans and pvr were wrong with oil escaping from diablo ridge into Druid.

Whats the chances the same applies for Drombeg, imho they should have cut the losses with this drill and moved on to another prospect.

I think the most interesting quotes over the last few days came from Europa ...

"Unfortunate result but not unexpected"

"Water filled Druid suggests seal intact for Drombeg"

As other on the EOG board have pointed out I know next to nothing about Oil Exploration and the Geology behind it but from what I read the Paleocene play (Druid) hasn't come to fruition on the analagous Orphan Basin off Newfoundland yet the Cretaceous Fan play has in the Flemish Pass. Perhaps that is why the Druid result was not unexpected.

I know nothing DYOR IMHO etc etc etc .... but I will add a little teaser .. if Drombeg turns out to be Gas then it is looking good for oil in the EOG Shaw prospect.

Don't know what to make of the negative comments here. This is frontier exploration drilling. Chances are low / risks are high. It is completely normal. PVR are only halfway through this drill. Without the data, it is impossible to say how this effects the COS at Drombeg. It may even have increased. No traces of oil have yet been found in a proven hydrocarbon system. The oil from the extensive source rocks may have been trapped deeper... Drombeg? Do not write this off yet. Two targets are being drilled. GLA.

RE: Barryrow will go ahead Today 12:42 600m shares in issue, only 15m shares traded on Friday, the share price hammering was overdone.

They just have too much exploration targets available to them, it might take some time was pvr will eventually recover.

Ignore all the doom and gloom era...

Imho

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

More lies from the lse bb's? There were over 3 times 15m shares traded on Friday. 46.4m according to M oneyAM!

Not quite sure why you're threatening to ban gersemi after one post but he actually makes a lot of sense.
GKP took 18 months to go from 9p shaiken strike to 450p
During that time I lost count of the number of armchair warriors "warning" investors they didn't want to be out when "that" announcement came.

Cost a lot of people money did that
