I was going to ask where Harrisen's 38 day guidance for Druid came from as I couldn't find it (not to say it isn't there)...

The company has estimated 60 days to overall TD of 2750M at Drombeg

If you do a few calculations using those figures You will come up with a drilling speed of about 46m per day. 1750m is the TD to Druid so divide that by 46m and you get 38 days from start of drilling to TD at Druid.
If my figures are near the mark we could be looking at about 16th August for the TD RNS.
Of course we could get news of oil shows any time from now on as well - so exciting times for the long termers going forward.

Even if we find oil I somehow doubt that the market will rerate us up to dizzy heights . They'll probably say you need to get it out of the ground. Funding?? I personally think a buyout of PVR will be on the cards if huge discoveries made and a BR FO happens. However, forget the dizzy heights of £9 those days long gone despite the fact PVR would be in a far better position if discoveries made , BR upside gets realises too. Of course one large difference is the OP is far lower now than back then.

The mkt not taking pvr seriously, potentially having 5bn barrels in druid and drombeg well, currently drilling and just days from knowing if oil at first target.Mkt not speculating watsoever...

The Skandi Flora now shows as back beside the rig. The Nomad (which I take to be the Irish coastguard?) is zipping about apparently at random. A hive of activity indeed but whether any of it to do with cuttings who knows?

The track of the Skandi Flora shows that it has gone alongside the rig, left it but is still hanging about, the Edda Frende also in the vicinity, the movements of these transport vessels seem odd, are they having trouble docking.

The speculation should be moving this up but instead we are getting manipulation and they won't let you buy in size.Had spread betters been allowed to trade this would definitely have been higher...

FTJ I'm only being pedantic. PVR are supposedly in charge at the moment. Should there be good news however all options would then be on the table.

1cag. I have no inside information. There is an old saying " the man who pays the piper calls the tune." I am passionately hoping for a good result here same as everyone. I just made that observation because I believe it to be accurate. Time will tell very soon.
