05/10/2016 16:05 | Bit of news today that may eventually come to have some bearing on Helvick and Dunmore: Extract: MFDevCo has been developing and progressing its marginal field initiative for six years but this agreement with Aibel is very significant, not only in terms of the validation of the company's business model but also, perhaps more importantly, in demonstrating to potential clients and partners the world-leading experience and capability that is now available to MFDevCo to ensure the successful development and delivery of marginal field projects. Alison Pegram, Managing Director of MFDevCo, commented, "Our primary focus recently has been on negotiations to secure projects and, with those progressing well, the signing of this announcement with Aibel is very timely as their support will be critical not only for the delivery of those projects, but also for future development of our solutions." Nigel Burton, CEO of Nu-Oil and Gas plc, commented, "The agreement with Aibel represents a significant advance in the development of the business model. Aibel's investment ensures that resource is available to assess and define projects as part of the acquisition process and in establishing the delivery mechanism. The resource will be applied in assessing a number of already identified target projects." | steelwatch
05/10/2016 13:30 | On a slightly less relevant note. There is a piece in today's Indo about the auction of daddy's treasures in Kilkenny. Didn't get along to it meself. | funtimejonny

05/10/2016 12:41 | Was hopin we'd break 12 and keep on goin in a modest way. | funtimejonny
05/10/2016 07:27 | Good morning Steel and Herm, I tend to agree with you Steel, Druid. Barryroe IMHO is a wee bit complex, if you get my drift. Have a good day all, GD | greatfull dead
04/10/2016 20:37 | GD,Could be Barryroe as drill ready subject to a moneybags turning up! | hermana3
04/10/2016 17:50 | GD - odds on Druid with outsider Barryroe dependant on an early farm out. | steelwatch
04/10/2016 17:26 | Question. What will the first PVR licence to be drilled in 2017? | greatfull dead
04/10/2016 17:20 | Keya,Only waking up it is so far! | hermana3
04/10/2016 16:13 | Back to the placing level. How far can it run prior to any news of substance? | keya5000
04/10/2016 14:06 | In Dublin Providence Resources shot up 20pc to 13.3 cents a share, after a relatively positive assessment from Merrion Stockbrokers. | steelwatch
04/10/2016 13:49 | Looks like Woodside's own seismic will take until into next year to interpret, and so 2018 would be the earliest they could drill, unless of course they care to farm in to one of PVR or Europa's prospects where the seismic has already been done. | rogerlin
04/10/2016 13:41 | No chance of share price drill in 2017 you reckon? | funtimejonny
04/10/2016 13:34 | Better chance of Spanish Point being drilled in 2018 than anything of Woodside/Europa. | hermana3
04/10/2016 13:14 | Some remarks on Atlantic Ireland by Hugh Mackay, from 3 mins in, including "we know that next year Providence are drilling...in 2018 we think that Woodside wish to drill". | rogerlin
04/10/2016 13:07 | Good point that FTJ - Pat Plunkett was highly respected as Chairman of Tullow. If PVR wanted Tullows ears to point in their direction, he's the man to make it happen. | stockriser
04/10/2016 12:25 | Would be great if they did....or Tullow, now that they have enhanced cash flow. | funtimejonny
04/10/2016 11:47 | Anyone have any thoughts on PP's T5 oufit, and whether they may become involved somehow? TIA SR | stockriser
04/10/2016 11:41 | FTJ They went for Barryroe on the same split as they currently have with Druid, 80-20, so I wonder, with the drilling costs much reduced, whether they may go for it again. The problem being of course would be similar to Barryroe, should they be successful, will they have the same trouble with interested majors and once again leave themselves cash strapped. Barryroe is still the overriding factor and needs to be finalised asap, that should put a few more shekels in the hopper. nice to see blue, regards | peaeff |
