15/5/2021 10:32 | Nice find! | skinny
14/5/2021 07:23 | PUGUGLY - I find that so annoying. Many of the articles on companies in this sector are woefully under researched. And BTW - you and tenapen are relative 'new boys' :-) | skinny
14/5/2021 06:51 | Morning PUGUGLY, this is where I being a stupid building worker has its advantages over a person who needs to type in all of the facts and figures and get the correct answer. I see hydrogen as part of the clean energy revolution. Fuel cells are a section of this. I choose PPS because it's German, the best engineers imho. That's it, pps is my fuel cell pick - simple. I wrote earlier to you about the director holding so many shares in pps would be seen a negative in the city ! I guess as there will be no hostile T/O or sweeteners to the men in suit's !. I hold Jim who also have the same situation with Sion holding so many and for me it's the rock behind my more riskier companies like pps. When a family (in the case of Jim) hold so many they are not going to take undue risks for a bigger bonus ! They are in it for the long term. Phe and the white family 'may' turn out to be in the same bracket. Regards. | tenapen
13/5/2021 21:06 | hi tenapen - You have been around almost as long as myself - Well done for holding so long - The difficulty I find with the whole sector is that sometimes it is in fashion and then the sector is no longer fashionable with swings of 25%+ either way. Then, within the sector, there are break-through technologies - if one is lucky the company in which one is invested makes the breakthrough - if not then potentially a very unhappy bunny - Also even if you are holding a breakthrough can take many years to build revenue and profit. (Examples SCE - looks as though it may be there now but major contracts still have to be signed - or ITX - bounded ahead having left the dung-heap that was Woodford and appears to be gaining very significant traction but (imo) potentially at significant risk if the next trading update does not meet expectations) PP has been on watch-list for ages BUT while very much in the right area is a relative minnow (even with the high level of debt) and easily squashed by a major able to invest many times PP's valuation in research and development with what to them is petty cash. OK might be cheaper to buy the company apart from the NIH syndrome. The other problem for many (including myself) is lack of expert knowledge of the competitive technologies in the fuel cell sector and which are perceived as the most competitive. The average city scribbles have not a clue in this area. (imo) | pugugly
13/5/2021 19:57 | Daltry, As your last post was incorrect in every point you make. At least your consistent. It is not just the pps share price that has fallen, if it was I would share your concern. Look around then breath easy. I hold k40+ shares from a low of mid 20s up to 107p. I have never sold a pps share ( Dh'o ) and from being well in profit I and now in the red. Prices go high and fall back, that's shares for you. If you have a desk job ! It's possible to keep an eye on prices and react. My job is manual and so not a option. My investment style is to pick a company and drip feed money over many years. Of the seven companies I hold, I have held four of them for over a decade. Not bad considering everyone's a day trader now a days. I am still bullish on the clean energy revolution and we are just at the start imho. No need to panic and I will continue to drip feed my small top-ups into pps and two others when funds allow. Always do your own research, and never gamble more than you can afford to loose. Good luck, All | tenapen
12/5/2021 12:52 | Dancing P, Still here looking to add, as unlike some I take long term positions, haven’t posted much as I have been accumulating Btc and other cryptos of the last 6 months, which has been very rewarding & I have been acquiring Gold as the Fed is recklessly printing more and more FIAT..it’s good to have a diverse investment portfolio I will look at support levels here but keen to add 40/45p area Checked charts, 52p has been lost, so caution ahead, needs to reclaim that support level for a few weeks before going long, if not wait for lower entry opportunities imo | ny boy
11/5/2021 13:19 | Don't anyone listen to the sycophant,' tenapen'. He probably works for PPS and can't explain the huge drop in share price over the last few months. Just look at the graph! He's probably short. Maybe 3'4" Ha Ha! | daltry
11/5/2021 13:13 | Probably my last shot with these. Stupidly bought back in around 120p and its fallen ever since Just bought some at 49.59p | volsung
06/5/2021 17:46 | Silke Frank xxxxxxx Thank you for having joined our webinar “Fuel cells and their role in the automotive sector” as one of 928 webinar attendees from 38 countries. We even had participants from Japan and Australia with us although it was already nighttime there. That's what I call commitment! You stay up late or wake up early for the Mission Hydrogen webinars :-) We discussed what role fuel cells can play in the automotive industry and our expert of the day, Matteo Schmid from Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH led us through this interesting topic with insights and case studies towards a green future of fuel cells in the automotive sector. A huge thank you to you as a participant. And if you were one of the participants from Asia or Australia a special thank you for staying up late :-) We support the activity and interactivity of our hydrogen community in the chat and in the Q&A discussions. I believe this really helps the hydrogen community in general. If you want to get the recording and the slides of this webinar, as well as access to all other webinars of 2021, please have a look at our Mission Hydrogen Webinar Collection 2021: Best regards, Silke | tenapen
06/5/2021 17:02 | In 2021 pps have issued two new order RNS's and one trading update. The share price never hit 150p If you had watched the webcast yesterday you would have seen nothing but positive facts. The slides and information for the clean energy sector (as a whole) going forward was fantastic. As always - do your own research - make up your own mind . | tenapen
06/5/2021 16:48 | So sell and move on !. It isn't rocket science if your not happy. Your call. | tenapen
06/5/2021 16:09 | No more "NY Boy" topping up on every dip, guess he's finally run out of money!! | dancing piranha
06/5/2021 09:40 | Bought a few more at 52.4p Don’t know whats causing the constant falls so hopefully using them to advantage | volsung
05/5/2021 16:49 | I sadly missed the start of the presentation and the Q&A session at the end, were way too complicated for me !. But I learned a few things, along with the other c980 participants. | tenapen

25/4/2021 22:56 | Thanks for that buddy...Interesting that they state, 'Bosch is already Hydrogen ready', I just wonder whether it may be the better proposition, being the more established historically to the newer contender PPS... | reb_ban
25/4/2021 20:08 | Bosch to invest €1bn into fuel cell technology By George Heynes on Apr 22, 2021 Bosch’s CEO believes the market for green hydrogen in the EU will be worth €40bn ($48bn) by 2030 with annual growth rates of 65%. Dr. Volkmar Denner made the comment at Bosch’s annual press conference where he also made a staggering estimate that the market for mobile fuel cell components in particular could be worth around €18bn ($21bn) by the end of this decade. Denner said “Bosch is already hydrogen-ready&rdquo With the investment, Bosch will look to put 100 stationary fuel cell plants into operation this year supplying electricity to users such as data centres, industrial manufacturers and residential areas. Denner believes that Bosch is prepared and ready to spearhead this growing market, “We have what it takes to be a leader in this market as well.” Expanding on this, Denner referenced the recent joint venture with China’s Qingling Motor Group which will see both companies produce fuel cell power trains with a test fleet of 70 trucks set to be on the roads before the end of 2021. In addition to this, Bosch’s previous success with the recently operational fuel cell plant in the centre of Bamberg, Germany, at the end of March 2021, will be used as a reference point into the ever growing, lucrative hydrogen market in the EU. ___________ Hi Reb_Ban, The above was taken from the BOSCH link on Friday. The target areas highlighted, pps are already selling into. From a standing start in 2021 Bosch suddenly look like Ford and GM waking up to the threat of Tesla ten years ago. Buy the best - Buy PPS :-) | tenapen
25/4/2021 17:30 | Very likely there will be further costly R&D at PPS buddy, healthy competition will provide the impetus...But I wasn't aware that Bosch was now developing its own fuel-cell products, surprising as both initial and ongoing costs are excessive and they seem to be 'Outclassed' with competitors unless like the Israelis they've been developing behind 'Closed Doors' for the last decade or so... | reb_ban
25/4/2021 05:51 | Surely no more than normal R&D, Reb_Ban ? but if you can show me the Statement or balance sheet figures ! i'd be happy to read. As HB has stated - 'incremental stuff' that does not sound costly to me !. Yes BOSCH will profit from the CWR investment. It got in big when CWR was being hammered by the shorters and De-Rampers. Yet now ten yrs later it has finaly decided the time is right to make its own product. Finaly, It's Great to have so many new posters on this thread. | tenapen
25/4/2021 03:40 | Surely being an investor here you're aware that Fuel-cell technology is costly to develop, maintain and store Tenapen? ...As HB has stated, the 'Buzz' really is for the future socioeconomic impact and PPSs early range of products will be requiring some significant capital spending to realise in the future... By the way, Bosch is actually well-placed to appreciate those investments at this relatively early stage in the technology... | reb_ban
24/4/2021 20:12 | Hi Zingaro, I didn't explain so well in my earlier post. I was saying Bosch are so far behind because they are only now going to invest €1 billion in fuel cell technology. Twenty years behind PPS, ITM & CWR among others. A rising tide lifts All clean tech stocks together. Good Luck. | tenapen
24/4/2021 19:47 | The science and surface technology of fuel cells is all fairly old hat. What's new is the engineering and the catalytic chemistry involved. I doubt there will be any major steps forward; only marginal, incremental stuff. However, the social economics is what is changing the landscape. | horneblower
24/4/2021 19:27 | Tenapen: i agree with your second post. I was only pointing out that bosch was not years behind as it had bought into cwr’s and powercell’s technology. | zingaro |
