01/8/2008 14:35 | Worcester IMMO store for sale. Didn't do well as Chimichangas or as Immo. Current rent is £75k and they are very quiet so have to be trading at a loss. Good they are divesting themselves of dodgy sites. | sks999
07/5/2008 22:03 | Looks like this may be going private then! | topvest
06/5/2008 17:15 | "LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Prezzo Plc. said certain members of its board have made a preliminary approach to explore the possibility of making an offer for the company. It added that there can be no guarantee that this approach will lead to an offer being made and an independent committee of the board has been formed for considering any such offer if made." | liveinhope
09/4/2008 22:28 | 22p actually on a diluted basis, but increasing fairly significantly year on year with their level of profits. | topvest
09/4/2008 08:07 | Yes results look good. I will be happy if it staya around this level a bit longer so i can find some funds to get in soon | yorgi
09/4/2008 07:55 | Agreed. This is a very solid company with good prospects. The Prezzo concept looks good; it is springing up all over London. | topvest
09/4/2008 07:51 | Pleasing results out today. 14% increase in dividend. No nasty surprises. | liveinhope
02/4/2008 15:28 | I am inclined to agree with you Topvest. I have always found a visit to their restaurants to be good and i don't think we are about to change on the eating out that we do | yorgi
01/4/2008 21:16 | Bit of a short term view. They said lower end of market expectations, rather than lower I seem to remember. Look at their operating margins - they are really very good and their business model is more recession proof than most. Their meals are cheap..£15 a head gets you a very good meal! It may go lower and the chart doesn't look good, but it will be back. | topvest
01/4/2008 10:42 | Not sure how the results will help much. Didn't they say they were going to miss market expectations? My feeling is that PRZ should renegotiate (down) a lot of the rent on their premises and that one of the major shareholders sells down a percentage of his shares so that PRZ will more attractive to a predator. NB I do not hold PRZ shares. | factsonly
31/3/2008 22:01 | Results in just over a week should help...or otherwise. Great company medium term though. May add some more if the valuation dips much more. | topvest
31/3/2008 15:04 | The price of shares has now almost fallen by 50% intwelve months. the share price graph definitely looks further entrenched in a steep down-turn. It shows no sign of bottoming yet. All imp. DYOR. QP | quepassa
31/3/2008 11:16 | Factsonly....yes good point thanks for that. | yorgi
31/3/2008 10:45 | yorgi - It might be a good idea to wait until the new tax year, people are expecting a sell-off by long term shareholders in AIM stocks before the changes to CGT in the new tax year. | factsonly
28/3/2008 11:10 | I would agree that on a two year view this should be a good buy. £1 could be a bit on the high side but if it hits 80p then a good return. I have alway found them to be good value restaurants and the management have a good track record. Am watching with intention of buying a few | yorgi
28/3/2008 10:54 | topvest - it will only hit £1 if there is a takeover bid, but £1 is a bit over-optimisitc. I'd like to see their detailed expansion plan and the amount of cash available to meet this. Given the current climate I'm not sure they can readily raise any more cash either through borrowing or another share placement (he latter is very undesirable). | factsonly
28/3/2008 09:47 | Some good opportunities to buy this at a knock-down price. On a two year view, this will be a £1+. | topvest
27/3/2008 09:06 | Back in Wokingham last night and visited iMMO outlet of chain - full on Wednesday night - food excellent and very reasonably priced. As always DYOR but I and other diners in group were impressed. | liveinhope
30/1/2008 10:57 | That's all the bad news factored in then ,up a bit today and as you say topvest ,these guys have an excellent track record . | the disciple
27/1/2008 08:33 | I wouldn't like to tell these guys how to run restaurants. They are about the best and have an excellent record. Their margins are fantastic. | topvest
26/1/2008 20:55 | In Wokingham today and quiet Prezzo outlet needs higher, maybe more illuminated, signage profile (Brown Bag coffee shop opposite heaving) See also iMMO outlet recently opened in same town in potentially superb location but no one seems to know it is open. Time for Prezzo to get aggressive in their marketing and maybe tie up deal with National newspaper like Pizza Express did last year, and Zizzi from same stable have done with Telegraph today, where effectively a free main course is offered to one for a set period when 2 or more dine. Would make more people aware of their existence during what would normally be a quiet time, generate some extra income and hopefully a high percentage of those taking up the offer would regularly return. topvest - agree now may not be right time to buy in PRZ but worth keeping on radar screen in view of recent Clapham House and Restaurant Group activity in same sector. | liveinhope
26/1/2008 18:17 | Sounds like they have 2/3 loss making sites where they write-down the fit out costs to nil. Surprised that the share price went up given the poor news. Still watching myself. Doesn't look quite the right time to buy yet. | topvest
25/1/2008 10:42 | RNS today, " Prezzo also said it would incur a fixed asset impairment charge of some 3 mln stg." Can anyone explain what a fixed asset impairment charge can be and what it is likely to be in this case? Thank you. | liveinhope
25/1/2008 10:34 | getting very tempting at this price! Would like to see it stable for a while to be able to say, we at the bottom, but then also dont; want to miss out, if it suddenly goes up from here. | fenmonster |
