From November 2016. Like point strongest asset in portfolio. Should make up for SolanPremier Oil chief executive Tony Durrant said Premier's progress with its North Sea Catcher field showed the business had learned its lesson."Catcher is going well. We are confident it will grow to be one of the strongest assets in our portfolio."Robin Allan, North Sea and exploration director at Premier, said Solan taught the company about the need to see projects through from top to bottom, rather than taking over developments that were already under way.Premier bought a 60% interest in Solan, which lies nearly 100 miles off Shetland, in May 2011.Onshore construction of the subsea storage tank, jacket and topsides was completed in 2014 with the facilities installed during August and September 2014.Production was initially slated to come on track at the end of 2014 but was delayed over the sanction budget and poor weather conditions. The field finally came on line in April 2016, by which time Premier had bought the remaining 40% stake from Chrysaor, giving it full operatorship.Solan, which cost Premier more than $1.2billion to develop, is expected to reach a plateau production rate of up to 25,000 barrels per day.First oil from Catcher is expected at the end of 2017.Six wells have already been drilled with each one coming in ahead of expectation. The subsea infrastructure has been completed below budget and the floating production and storage unit, which was running late, is scheduled to sail away from Singapore in summer 2017.

Re ads - you need to opt out
Click tiny triangular symbol at top right of ad, then follow links through re ad settings
They bury the stop button away so just follow through, you will get there in the end

Is anyone else getting the adverts on ADFVN just suddenly starting up? I have phoned in but as usual they give no reason for the complaint you make. This is a stinking company i know and i have just stopped my subscription because they are taking the mickey now by pumping in these adverts.

Lovely investment now for year end at these prices.

He added: “Catcher is going very well in every phase. We’ve had good development wells in the North Sea. There was quite a wide range of outcomes on development drilling and we’ve had very positive results on that, so we’re heading I think towards the upper spectrum of reserves outcome, which is great.

“We had very good summer campaign with our subsea providers. They did very good job and we’re fully installed.

“I was just out in Singapore 10 days ago, looking at the FPSO , which is very impressive. I can’t think of a better place in the world to get it done and I think we’re going to be on time.”

Premier expects to announce the full detail of the commercial terms which Premier anticipates will include equity warrants as part of the economics to lenders. Implementation of the refinancing will not otherwise be conditional upon the issue of new equity.

With TD's grasp of time frames 'next few days' could mean June!

No wonder the shorters see this as yet another open door to crash through.

I think they let a little head of PI steam build up and then back to the SETs monopoly.

Hope I'm wrong but.....
