Got to wait for an offer for sea lion. Meanwhile are they required to do anything? If not sit on hands and focus on Zama.

From my technical view the trend is up and as I tend to avoid the daily noise the weekly chart is looking good to me . Surprised that the fundamental viewers are not pointing out that H2 has a slightly higher hedged production from $60 to $62 and the rise in the forward curve permits or will give PMO a much higher hedge level going forward . I mean that is what value investors in oil look at - forward oil curve . The ZAMA asset is also soon to get appraised and we know that is huge . Even if Sea Lion is going to take time there is a lot there already

Does anyone know what asset value is currently applied to Sea Lion if any. From memory the cost per barrel of producing oil from Sea Lion has been stated at about $45.From what. If there is limited value applied to Sea Lion I would assume that the market is currently putting no value on Sea Lion. If thats the case. I personally would sell Sea Lion and concentrate on projects with a much lower operating cost.If $45 is correct then as far as I am concerned It does'nt matter how much oil is in the ground, don't bother.Over heads are the key.

Tolmount has been sanctioned. With Catcher's production profile dropping in the early 2020s, Sea Lion is important to PMO's future. At the moment the economics look great and there's a lot of exploration upside to come in the Falklands. Let's hope finance is secured and sanction is approved, it would set PMO up very nicely.

Got back in tentatively at 123p after the Saudi news that happy with $80 Brent. Confirmation of a buy on British bull Wish I hadn't let GKP slip higher as better % returns over there I reckon, but not at its current price. Have also put a buy order at 120 incase I can grab some on open tomorrow. Not 100% about this trade though as OPEC weekend and I don't think the emerging market contagion is over- it may pop a bit randomly until its properly resolved. Resolution is unlikely if Trump continues his war with China and also with Turkey.
