24/12/2019 14:19 | yes but the sells have been bought haven't they ... clearly | undervaluedassets
24/12/2019 13:23 | Agreed> But look at the sells for the past week. | petewy
24/12/2019 12:17 | Don't think so petway... has been fairly steady last few days. Seeing PMI have portfolios stuffed with small and midcap uk equities, and given the advances seen since the election in those sectors I would judge that things looks set fair for now... | undervaluedassets
24/12/2019 09:07 | I got back in again at 165p but the selling over the last few days is too much so I'm out. | petewy
13/12/2019 12:34 | Is this an election bounce or are we holding steady at 170? | petewy
13/12/2019 10:37 | Well Premier Asset mangement ran a lot of portfolios full of UK stocks (and perhaps more significantly full of UK stocks with UK facing businesses). The same was true of Miton Group too (but it had international portfolios as well). Before the merger a lot of these "Uk'centric" portfolios had fared badly due to 'B-word' uncertainty; And hence so had the share prices of Premier Asset management and Miton Group. But today - with Brexit certainty - prospects for those assets look very different. Investors (and by that I mean real investors not traders) and the UK businesses they invest in have received a massive confidence boost with this election result. All good news for the new entity that is Premier Miton. And that is before the savings and synergies from the merger have landed. So the share price jump today and yesterday for the newly combined entity that is Premier Miton is not only most welcome, it also seems logical. | undervaluedassets
12/12/2019 13:58 | Institutions and directors picking up a few shares.. Makes sense to me .. very cheap by historical standards.. Even if this business stands still (which I doubt) there are £7 million in costs to be cut from the combined enterprise which will drop straight to the bottom line. | undervaluedassets
05/12/2019 09:16 | I'm out and waiting t get back in again when the price levels off | petewy
05/12/2019 08:56 | Thanks - I was wondering why this had a drop. Hopefully not one that continues much longer | dmdmdmdm1
05/12/2019 08:49 | xd today .. those on register get 5p | undervaluedassets
28/11/2019 19:32 | Does anyone know where to find the most recent, pre merger, Miton Group results? | the millipede
28/11/2019 10:44 | Goldry....received my today | thaiger
28/11/2019 10:40 | Yup - All asset managers have had middling results in the UK lately Brexit uncertainty has been a black swan that has persisted for the asset management industry, holding everyone's investment decisions back.. However Brexit will get resolved and companies like Premier Miton will capitalise with more confident markets. This is a cyclical business sector; But investors and the asset management industry that serves them will endure. Internally there are £7 million of efficiencies and synergies to be realised from the new PremierMiton entity. Dividend policy favourable too.. I think I will hang around. | undervaluedassets
28/11/2019 09:00 | Middling results. Got my divi | petewy
26/11/2019 12:02 | 28th November | whiteadder
26/11/2019 12:00 | Does anyone know when the special division is due to paid? I thought I read it was no later than 10 days after the merger, but can't find that now. | goldry
19/11/2019 12:53 | It was not a lot of selling really if you look at the trading volumes. Less than a million. In a world where mergers often invoke a yawn, actually this looks very interesting IMO. I held Miton and will continue to hold here. | the millipede
19/11/2019 10:25 | Those legacy short term Miton shareholders who were in it for the arbitrage play (there was one) and the special divi bailed yesterday. hence the fall on the day after merger The merged business looks sound though and now offers a much larger range of complimentary funds. I nibbled a few more on dip yesterday ... seemed rude not to take advantage. Results shortly... | undervaluedassets
18/11/2019 14:23 | Rang Premier Miton IR just now and there is indeed be a Premier Miton set of results at the end of November and all Premier Miton share holders (including legacy Miton shareholders) will receive the dividend that will be declared as part of those results. So as a former Miton shareholder already in receipt of the the special divi - that means double bubble. Happy days. | undervaluedassets
15/11/2019 16:57 | No results out yet for Premier so can't have declared a div for Dec. | ifaze
15/11/2019 14:08 | Thanks for the board CWA1 | petewy
15/11/2019 12:05 | looks like shares have been allocated. My Miton gain was 12%. My Premier Miton gain is 10% so my share value has dropped 2%. The Special divi should more than compensate. Doesn't look like the new PMI have declared a December divi yet. | kp47 |
