02/10/2004 17:58 | Glad I brightened your day for 15 seconds Nurdin! Same here. The Directors know more than anyone. they wouldn't put that much of thier own money in PDR if it wasn't going to appreciate somewhat. They also wouldn't do it 2 years in advance. My feeling is that the upcoming results will confirm ours and their confidence. Only a matter of time. Dave | davewheelershed
02/10/2004 17:54 | rofl dave! very amusing...:o) Still hanging in here. Results not far off....perhaps the results will show why the directors bought so heavily?? | nurdin

01/10/2004 22:59 | no i am a bull on pdr but its up to market makers to take it higher. Don't be arrogant you neve now what tricks the markets play. | stallone10
01/10/2004 19:17 | Still having a think there Stallone? Take your time, granted, it is a tricky one. Dave | davewheelershed
01/10/2004 10:53 | Sylve...Sorry... Stallone, are you a bear on PDR? If so I would love to hear your views as I struggle to see a downside and a contrarian view is always welcome. Dave | davewheelershed
01/10/2004 07:08 | Directors buying over £200,000 worth of shares between them, just before PDR's year end is a very positive sign. | fellowes
30/9/2004 23:42 | we will see | stallone10
30/9/2004 19:02 | stallone10 PDR is Up over 70% in the last 12 months. The re-ratings occur around results time. I expect at Least another 50% over the next 12 months. | fellowes
30/9/2004 18:55 | weve seen them before though. | stallone10
30/9/2004 18:31 | Up 11 pence today, Looks like the start of the re-rating | fellowes
29/9/2004 22:55 | Good points raised and answered there. It could be construed that the lack of trading update could be negative but Fellowes makes the valid point that the directors/no execs purchases speak volumes. No-one knows more than them (Even us!) and 5-10000 shares is a fair bit of cash. I am unconcerned. Confident even. Dave | davewheelershed
29/9/2004 22:04 | Beaufort The Operations Director puchased 10,000 shares at £6.40 on the 27/07/04, Noel Robbins a Non Excutive Director bought 10,000 in early July at the same time as Barry Moat the CEO added another 5,000 to his already large stake. I regard these director dealings as highly significant and they indicate a large degree of confidence in the outlook for PDR. Dave The Kleeneze results were excellent and I was very encouraged by the near 15% increase in the SP, PDR holders will not need to wait very much longer. | fellowes
29/9/2004 14:42 | The only slight worry is that we have not had a trading update recently. So we're a bit in the dark about H2 | beaufort1
29/9/2004 14:28 | Kleeneze results today, very good. KLZ - 135-140 +17.5p Bodes well for PDR or is that too simplistic? Dave | davewheelershed
27/9/2004 07:20 | jack green Quantum Leap is published by Letterprint Ltd tel: 0207 9377879. Issue 5 highlighted PDR. Some very good points made in your posting, its primarily the addition in the distributor base that lead me to expect EPS of over 90 pence for the current year. This combined with the recent large director share purchase and buoyant outlook statement indicate a fantastic set of forthcoming results on Oct 19. | fellowes
26/9/2004 23:29 | enjoyed reading all the PDR posts of late. While my eps forecasts are not quite as optimistic as some about this year or next year, this share looks cheap no matter how conservative I am about forecasts. Coupled with that we have the very up beat outlook statements ("extremely confident"), the successful integration of WBC, the suggestion rivals are struggling, the exclusive DS-Max alliance, the Tesco exec joining the board, the director share purchases, the early repayment of the loan to Kleeneze, and the prospect PDR will soon be debt-free and is lookling at ways to grow the business (further acquisitions? UK or continent?), the rumours of strong trading reported in the independent. Like you, I'm looking forward to the results with enthusiasm! Fellowes do you have a link for contacting quantum leap? I had not previously heard of them. | jack green
26/9/2004 17:48 | Quantum Leap is a stockmarket letter highlighting radidly growing companies. It searches for a minimum of 15% compond growth. As it is subscription only, I'm unable to post its recommendation on PDR. The write up is highly positive with and the implication that in three years time profits could be approaching £15m, with a PE down to around three on the current share price. The business is also hugely cash generative and the scope for further acquisitions is also featured. In my view PDR offers exceptional value at the current share price and will be rapidly re-rated either in the run up to results (due on October 19th) or just afterwards. As we are now just within T20 range, I expect the process to begin within the next week. Good luck to all holders. | fellowes
26/9/2004 16:48 | What is ql can you repeat the article. Here are my estimates for next year. distrubtors 700 sales per dist. £70000 Profit margin 27% total sales=49 mill Profit 49mil*0.27=£13.23 million Total profit before tax 13.23-3.9( admin)=£9.33 million If 4.2 millin equals 72p in earnings then. 9.33/4.2*72p=159p. growth average for retail sector 13 times 13*1.59=£20.67. that the share price a year from now and this is conservative. | stallone10
24/9/2004 09:18 | nurdin There is an excellent write up on PDR in the May issue of Quantum Leap, which is very informative. I consider it a "no brainer" at this price. | fellowes
24/9/2004 08:55 | Hope you are right fellowes....but Id be happy with 75p..over that its a bonus.;o) | nurdin |
