If true that means Premier’s stake is worth US$42mln; a sizeable amount given the explorer’s current market value of £23mln. 14/2/2017 10:13 | Summary from Microtan this morning;Here is an up to date summary of what is happening at PREM.1) No Darwin debt.Darwinâs converted shares were pre-sold to brokers who then sold them to investors at low prices to attract enough buyers to absorb these shares.News on shares admitted to trading on AIM is expected up to 13 February 20172) RHA Tungsten Mine re-opening February and following optimisation profits of $6 million per annum from July based on a Tungsten price of $180mtu. Tungsten has risen 10% to $193-198mtu and the X-ray transmission (XRT) sorter will increase margins from $50/mtu to $60/mtu. Profits could be around $7.2 million per annum.$20m owed to PREM for development costs by NIEEF, 51% partners in RHA. Consequently all profits revert to PREM for 3 years and 49% thereafter.RHA has a 40 year Life of Mine.News on completion of underground works and commissioning is expected later this month.3) Zulu Lithium/ TantalumDrilling completed 3 weeks early and assay results are rolling out during February/early March.Grades exceed targets extending over 3.5km and down to 200m depth so far identified in the 5km strike. A further 2km strike to the North makes a total strike of 7km. PREM plan an extended drilling programme to add to the resource statement.Once evaluated, PREM will consider either selling Zulu or form a separate company. Zulu is conservatively valued at £66 million.News on certified assay results is expected at any time soon.4) TCT Industrias Florestais Limitada (TCT). PREM has a 52% share in TCT. The hardwood forestry division has a projected $750k per annum profit. TCTâs limestone division will be highly competitive against imported high cost agri-lime and limestone aggregates.News on financials is expected any time soon.5) Casa Mining Limited (CASA). PREM have a 4.5% share in CASA that is planning a 5,000 metre drilling program to validate the 3 million ounce potential of the Akyanga gold deposit in the Democratic Republic of Congo. CASA will then issue a revised scoping study for a potentially larger gold mining operation.In December 2016 PREM decided not to acquire up to 30% in CASA agreeing to work towards consolidating the CASA interests and find appropriate finance to fully develop the project.News on developments is not expected until later this year.6) Circum Potash shares have been valued by proactiveinvestors at $42 million. Morgan Stanley is facilitating the buyout once Ethiopian government sign off agreement.News on anticipated liquidity event is expected any time this year | sorrento06 | |
