And 'no sign of a placing' sounds very much like an assumption - as it could not be information. This does not mean there will not be a placing!

he's inferring since he normally gets asked if he wants to partake....so based on the fact he hasn't, he's making an assumption...although on a number of fronts that doesn't mean there won't be one

Surely they could not confirm either way on a placing to any individual outside the company as that is highly price sensitive information?

Believe in US most news is released post Market, rather than pre. But pre uk, if that makes any sense?

Question. If an american company say Illumina made a bid, would they have to wait for US pre market to announce. Im NOT saying this is whats happened. Just wondering if anybody knows the legal side of it.
