Yep, timing is everything. Also you have to look at market caps. I was buying lots of ECO recently to wait for their drilling in 2021 when their market cap was below 50M. ECO is far superior to BPC and yet BPC market cap is well above ECO.

I also like BPC and have made loads of money from it, it has like a sentimental gang feel about it (remember SEO in the past and other such emotion driven stocks?). Its probably because its been promising to drill Bahamas for over a decade now and so many people have become by default long term diluted shareholders.

But you also have to apply logic. The market cap is high, they dont have the funds to drill yet and even if it goes ahead, it will not be until 2021.

PRD the market cap is tiny, they are fully funded and apart from Trinidad and Ireland they will be drilling Morocco in September 2020.

So the balance says, PRD is far better short term.
