29/5/2020 11:22 | Yesterday I listened to several of the vox market interviews that Paul did. He mentioned the technique of using a subsidary company to avoid dilution of the main Plc which is apparently what has been done according to today's RNS. I do wonder if the Ireland venture is actually all about building credibility with bigger players for when the time comes to farm-in for Morocco. It's clear that Morocco is the big fish here and everything else is laying a foundation for that project. A few other observations; not often you see management in these companies talking up their ability to reduce costs, and not just in a macro sense (e.g. "no secretaries, we do all our own admin with flights & hotels" etc). Paul must be late fifties or early sixties. That presumably means he wants a payout soon(ish). Yes, he has a large holding so we are aligned. One possible downside: he has such a large holding that he could afford to dilute and still takeaway a huge payout. Others less so. My gut feeling is that won't happen as he's demostrated a reluctance to do that so far. | joey1998 | |
