The recent investor discussions surrounding Predator Oil & Gas Holdings Plc (PRD) on ADVFN have revealed significant movements and sentiments among shareholders. Key comments suggest a mix of cautious optimism and skepticism regarding stock activity, particularly concerning the apparent selling of shares by major stakeholders. Notably, investor "mariopeter" highlighted suspicions about Larry B., a significant stockholder, potentially offloading shares, possibly in response to an offer that was previously declined. This has led some to speculate on whether the company's strategy is to secure more cash through share placements, as noted by "john henry."
Financially, discussion surrounding the resistance at the 6.5p mark indicates a tense trading environment, with "wrtmf" questioning whether the observed stock behavior reflects a solid buying interest or a barrier to growth. Meanwhile, excitement was noted from "pittcock," who anticipated a significant announcement in an upcoming RNS. Collectively, these comments portray a mixed investor sentiment, characterized by speculation about internal stock dynamics and external perceptions of value. The general mood suggests cautious engagement, as stakeholders navigate the implications of these significant share movements while also assessing the company’s strategic direction in light of evolving market conditions.

Sorry think you are right Keith. Will look back when home from holiday but last financial statements indicate I was badly wrong. Heres to a great 2025 for PRD. |
Keith, it’s just something to write on a BB… |
"He refused the 5 p bid for all his stock" Where did you get that from? |
@MP. If you mean Lonny Baumgardner, he has never held 40M shares. At the time of the share loan, he held 11,183,605. There is no PDMR notification that he acquired more, either by on-market purchase, award by the company, or through option exercise. At the point of his leaving the company, he had 7,427,042 unexercised options, which lapsed unexercised. It would seem very odd if he was selling his shares now, unless out of personal financial necessity. |
Maybe he would be wise to hold whatever he has left. |
My view is Larry B is selling some down. He refused the 5 p bid for all his stock and the company saw the chance to bank more cash.40 m shares. |
Good buying. Tuesday rns? |

They have to honour the licenses already issued otherwise they face legal action. No new licenses will be issued I agree. Are you aware that the US has already reduced its co2 emissions considerably by using indigenous gas instead of dirtier fuels which is what Eire should be doing and reductions are significant if you study the europa oil report. They also know that the rollout of windfarms is staggering with supply limitations. |
Threats of multi billion EU climate fines have resulted in a situation where no future Irish government will sanction any further fossil fuel exploration. DECC will just keep stonewalling all applications as they have done for the past number of years. |
Ireland risks becoming a total basket case unless it addresses it's energy issues pronto. |

Wrtmf all I can say is today we had a negative growth number and that is down to labour's management of the budget. Someone also needs to tell our friend from Pudsey that if you increase any tax, or disguised tax, that cannot, under any circumstance, be described as a "growth" plan. |
it's off topic, but it cuts to the lie of western governments, deep in their hearts, |
