23/4/2021 09:21 | Can't buy many now. | someuwin
23/4/2021 08:47 | I know all stocks carry a risk but this one is like taking candy from a baby. Just got to wait for the warrants to work through | richie32
23/4/2021 08:28 | Will be hitting new highs soon - imo. | someuwin
22/4/2021 13:22 | Molopo Farms is being updated in the header over the course of today. It takes a bit of understanding the reason for the delay. | noirua
21/4/2021 13:52 | Research note sparked some interest. | walter walcarpets
20/4/2021 13:09 | Disappointing drilling results in Australia by ECR's subsidiary Mercator Gold will have been a negative factor if only small to POW this morning. | noirua
19/4/2021 10:12 | Ok, so RNS out now and due diligence extended by a few days. "The original Option exercise period expired on 8 April 2021 and was then extended on 8 April 2021 to 16 April 2021. A further short extension has now been agreed with the vendors to 23 April 2021 which is necessary to allow the Power Metal team sufficient time to finalise due diligence work including work in respect of additional projects in the Paterson Province that may be suitable for acquisition to further build the portfolio." | algernon2
17/4/2021 17:00 | Well no RNS so far maybe Monday, now that Paul has finished stuffing Shares into his SIPP and Andrew Bells lady has finished filling her ISA. Incidentally I have also just filled my ISA so raring to go Paul, when you are ready my friend. | algernon2
16/4/2021 09:22 | The due diligence extension runs out today on one of the potential new Australian projects. So maybe RNS number 2 later today to complement RNS 1 earlier today. "The original Option agreement provided for an exercise period ending today (8 April 2021), and this has now been extended to 16 April 2021." | algernon2
15/4/2021 17:29 | Noirua: Excellent details, I have just taken an interest here as part of a balanced portfolio. Was looking for some metals this fits the bill.Great to see so many nice members on the board. | cleverinvester
15/4/2021 17:23 | Noirua, Thank you for your further explanation. I'm a long in the tooth investor also but my experience with natural resources investment is more over recent years. I suppose the current state of play with excessive counterfeiting of key economy fiat currencies (whoops "quantitive easing"),has made me feel very uneasy and following much research pointed me to PM's miners. The electrification theme has also piqued my interest into commodities. So here we are and one of my principle investments is POW with interests covering all key metals. I really like PJ's strategy and the fact that he is putting his money where his mouth is (more shares added today coincidentally). The speed with which the company is evolving is breathtaking and rightly or wrongly feel that if anyone can drive a commodities business forward successfully it is the CEO of POW. Only time will tell and good luck to you too and of course all shareholders in POW. Exciting times? | steved
15/4/2021 14:29 | Hi SteveD et al, thank you lol!, About the only thing I'm beating PJ at is my age. Giving it away a bit my experience was the Aussie mining boom during the 1970s and Evil was making his fortune probably at about that time as well. My first resource share purchased was Woodside Lakes Entrance Oil - now Woodside Petroleum, a long time back. When I mention scrubland that was my view out of the window of the Ghan through South Australia and the Northern Territory shortly after it opened in 2004. On nickel, there are a few surprises on finds and the main one of course was Nova and Bollinger in 2012. In Australia and the POW interest is in Tansania that should not make a difference if it comes up trumps. I hold shares in POW though I'm an investor who has reduced and increased my holding since the start of play when PJ arrived. Some I bought recently after the fall of about 30%: So there is good reason for me to hope everything comes off well. Experience tells me not to get over-enthusiastic and not take a large position. You will see very many around many companies on ADVFN who are very bitter about events during the mining decline from 2011 to 2016 in particular and probably up to early 2020 before things really turned around. POW and RRR's chairman AB has more experience than PJ time-wise and RRR is one share many are very bitter about as many fundraises meant investors lost large percentages of their money. AB did say many invest far too much money in very small companies and that is a warning sign to all investors whether new to the marketplace or with 30 to 70 years of experience. We all fall into traps that is the way of it. I believe more people took their own lives in 2020 than ever before. Good fortune with your investment and I hope it continues to work well at POW for us all. | noirua
15/4/2021 14:12 | Algernon2: Thanks a million and great to be on a nice board. | cleverinvester
15/4/2021 13:35 | Noirua Thank you for your personal insights. They do however mostly sit opposite to PJ's. PJ has a long track record in the junior mining space and is well regarded by many. You are obviously an expert too, could you kindly enlighten us as to your track record? Just to let you know Greatland Gold had some scrubland at Havieron which seems to be going OK. Funnily enough PJ had a hand in refinancing GGP which helped to kickstart the drilling campaign. P.S. you omitted the potential of the corporate work being speedily and understand diligently being progressed. The JV's to be listed on the LSE and TSX. Certain licences in the Victoria Goldfield, KCB and Ditau and Silver Peak. Would be good to receive your in depth analysis of the first two as based on your analysis, albeit rather brief, PJ is possibly wasting his time? Can't wait. Thank you in advance. | steved
15/4/2021 13:15 | If you live up to your name Cleverinvester then you are more than welcome aboard the Good Ship Pow as we sail her to her Destiny. | algernon2
15/4/2021 10:09 | Just bought in here today. 2.25 good entry price . | cleverinvester
15/4/2021 01:54 | Close on the TSX TSXv on Wednesday by Stockhouse: Strength in the energy and base metals sectors couldn't lift Canada’s main stock index higher in Wednesday trading, as the TSX fell in a broad decline. | noirua
14/4/2021 17:11 | Nice to have an honest assessment | danmart2
14/4/2021 15:42 | Noirua14 your analysis looks good to me. However don't forget to see the wood through the trees. It will only take one or two to take off to make the company successful. No-one expects any explorer to have a 100% success. POW has managed to hedge the possible losers by having such a high number and spread of projects | richie32
14/4/2021 14:37 | PJ asks on Twitter: As the junior resource market’s a little dull at the moment thought I would ask a question. Which of the #POW exploration projects or investments interests you the most as an investor? Nickel is always a difficult one as I followed for many years Poseidon Nickel Limited exploring the area of the 1969/1970 Poseidon discovery. Western Mining gave up on it after many years of mining the area. It is tough going and I doubt Haneti will be a quick winner unless a substantial company buys into it. BHP is a top nickel miner in Australia and looking elsewhere to expand. Tanzania is not a bad place to drill. The Australian assets are scrubland combined with hopes and dreams of getting good drilling results eventually. Rarely pays to drill early without doing careful survey work. If gold recovers in price like Bitcoin then it's a winner. So many gold tiddlers in Canada so selling the story is the big factor here whilst containing costs. The Silver Peak project is the one for me as I've bought the story of silver shortage and a $50 price this year or next. It looks like a quite financially safe situation and not much chance IMHO of Power Metal becoming a financial cropper over it. Kisinka has question marks and not helped by Red Rock's DRC so-called promising tenement at Musonoi suffering all sorts of delays and promises coming to nothing so far. Kalahari lives in hope and might come up trumps. However, it might not. Ditau Camp is far too early stage. Hemlo North looks OK even though the percentage of interest and royalty are not that much. Should in due course be a good annual earner to cover running costs. A future bread and butter interest. Alamo looks interesting and may or may not come off. Too uncertain to have anything but a guess on. MY guess is I'll still be guessing this time next year and probably the one after. A worthy punt I think. The Katoro and Kavango share interest could be saviors if easy to sell the interests in the future. | noirua
14/4/2021 12:45 | PJ wasn't looking too well in his latest podcast in the header. Still, it was seriously put but without the usual humour. | noirua |
