We are delighted to report that significant nickel intersections have been confirmed by the first batch of assay results received for the diamond drilling at the MFC Project. Recognising these drill results come from early stage reconnaissance drilling it is extremely positive to identify nickel mineralisation as confirmed today.

“We are delighted to report that following receipt of the results from the recently completed RAB drill programme a decision has been made to advance the Haneti Nickel PGM Project to deep diamond drilling.

The extra geological information provided by the recent shallow drilling results and the discovery of new gossanous nickel-copper-magnetite veining at Mihanza Hill, have confirmed that we should proceed to deep diamond drilling in order to assess the potential for economic nickel sulphide mineralisation at Haneti.

With the diamond drilling programme design and drilling contractor appointment currently underway we look forward to providing further updates shortly.”

Someuwin, the above company and news about their Potential Oil discovery and recovery has just been on Sky News the news story painting them as a potential ecological disaster for the immediate area and neighbouring areas and all their denizens.
A good 5-10 minute story on the area and potential impact. Not the best advert for the Company or their plans.

Been reading about Canadian company, Reconnaissance Energy Africa (ReconAfrica) $480m mkt cap



"ReconAfrica is a junior oil and gas company engaged in the exploration and development of oil and gas in Northeast Namibia and Northwest Botswana—the “Kavango Basin.”

"According to the company's conclusions, there could be up to 120 billion barrels of crude oil lying beneath an area roughly the size of Belgium."

"The company has issued a number of promotional videos which proclaim its belief that Namibia and neighbouring Botswana are sitting on a veritable pot of black gold – a hidden oilfield which the company insists could be one of the largest in the world."

Northwest Botswana is where Kavango Resources/POW now hold over 4,000km(2) of exploration ground in the KCB.

All rather interesting.

ReconAfrica project must be big - it's managed to incur the wrath of SKY news...

I don't always have time to watch all of Paul's presentation but I had a look at this one and it is very impressive.

It's not just the clarity of the presentation but the way Paul has managed to get to the point we are now.

So many companies can get bogged down in one or two projects but with POW they have somehow managed to make it look easy when it obviously is not easy.

The guy is on fire....Power Metal Resources PLC (LON:POW) the AIM listed metals exploration and development company is pleased to announce an exploration update at the Kalahari Key Mineral Exploration Pty Ltd ("Kalahari Key" or "KKME") Molopo Farms Complex Project (the "Project" or "MFC Project"), which is targeting prospective massive nickel sulphide and platinum-group element ("PGE") mineralisation in Botswana.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER UPDATE

Paul Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of Power Metal Resources, commented:

"The confirmation of nickel sulphides in the core from drill hole KKME 1-6 is a very positive outcome and adds yet more weight to the geological proposition being tested at the MFC Project.

The team at KKME are continuing to stay focused and assimilate technical information as it flows in. Further data is due in the form of laboratory assay results, continuing University mineralogical analysis of core samples and downhole geophysics data, all of which is expected shortly.

Undoubtedly we will have more to say soon and we look forward to sharing further findings in due course."
