Baldrick I reckon they will back in another orphan or 2 on a short term option, so they have something else to talk up without the cost or time, being only a short term investigation. If necessary they can then fail cheap but also talk up cheap too. It not so much a pile of boffins they have assembled, it is a pretty slick marketing team I and probably lots of others are betting on.
