Polo are showing that they have full commitment to GCM. It was always said that Tang bought his shares in Polo because he wanted GCM. Polo historically had a large stake in GCM and today’s announcement takes them back to where they were and the largest shareholder. Polo can further increase their stake if they wish by converting their loans to GCM into shares. They can’t go above 30% without triggering a bid so they could go to 29.9%.
I do believe it is a strong indication that Polo expect a profitable outcome and the green light for GCM.

Well M Tang has pulled off a neat trick. Did anyone see that coming?
This will give Tang the clear voting power he needs at AGM.
Dilution of Polo shares will surely push down Polo share price.

Technically the AGM has not had a result yet.
The AGM was not closed it was adjourned.
The Chairman still has to finish the AGM.

GCM have released an RNS this morning confirming as previously announced that Polo have increased their loan to GCM such tha GCM is fully funded for the next 12 months. It demonstrates Polos continuing confidence in GCM. GCM is UP 4% in early trades.
