Tang was not re-elected as a Director at the AGM.
He therefore resigned.
He may be co-opted back onto BoD.

One of the large shareholders (I won't name him) is surely fed up with the datuk and its gourmet management. Huge salary, investment in companies looking more like gambling than investment, promises for years, and much more ... A lot of minor shareholders also voted against the fake datuk re election...

this is what we call make fun of its shareholders....

Perhaps some of the proxy votes were not as required. I assume that most small investors use nominee accounts.

Surely everyone with any interest in their holding knew what resolution 3 was, and voted against. RESULT!!! At last we have some news that gives me hope that someone decent will step in and make this company work for the benefit of all shareholders, although I am fearful Tang has probably got a plan B which is going to leave us all high and dry...but for this moment lets celebrate the result, awaiting the outcome of VAR!

It is interesting that resolution 3 has been deferred as that was the resolution to re elect Michael Tang on the 3 year resignation cycle for Directors required under Company law.

Polo Resources Limited (AIM: POL), the multi-sector investment company with interests in oil, gold, coal, copper, phosphate, lithium, iron and vanadium, announces that at its Annual General Meeting ("AGM"), held earlier today, resolutions one and two were duly passed by poll.

The meeting was then adjourned by the Chairman, in line with the Articles of Association of the Company, to enable a review of the eligibility of certain shareholders' rights to exercise their vote and to obtain certain clarifications that were not immediately available. As a result, resolution three was deferred following the adjournment of the meeting.

I can only imagine that the Directors will be informing shareholders that Polo has just thrown more cash at GCM. In the present climate can anyone see GCM ever coming good. Tangs other coal investments are also going up in smoke - no?

I phoned Polo Resources in SA. Their PR confirmed they had results of voting but would not give them to me as the 'directors will be making a statement'. Don't know what that means but even if Tang re-elected I hope many shareholders showed their discontent by voting against him.

The Polo share price performance under Tang has been dreadful.
It is to the benefit of all shareholders to "improve" its performance.

It dosnt matter how small the holding, we need to start showing as a group we are far from happy with the current leadership, in particular with the obscene salary being drawn down when shareholders investment value has declined dramatically, and no dividends have been paid nor are likely to be paid. USE YOUR VOTE !!

I wonder if there will be an AGM statement.
According to Polo's website; the resolution votes are published.
Tang's re-election (votes against)would be interesting.
