KUALA LUMPUR: Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd was the most actively traded counter in the morning session today on a new update of the North Sabah Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) production sharing contract (PSC) 50 per cent stake acquisition.

At 11.54 am, Hibiscus Petroleum shares perked eight sen to 54.5 sen with 156.16 million shares traded.

Public Investment Bank said Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB) had waived its preemption rights under the joint operating agreement of the PSC and Petronas has provided its approval to Shell which is conditional for the assignment of interest to the PSC in favour of Hibiscus.

“We believe the acquisition is in the bag, and expected to be completed by end-2017 at the latest,” it said in a research note today.

The investment bank has initiated coverage of Hibiscus Petroleum with an “outperform221; call and a target price of RM1.06.

Tang has been bleeding this company dry since day one! He cannot justify his salary! There has been no returns for investors since Mr Dattels.

Thanks for posting today's RNS for Blackham which is very positive projecting Wiluna production of 200000 oz of gold on a long term basis. It also puts some very good numbers on this production. Blackham has a very promising future and I think Mr Tang has chosen well.

what tang has done is to lose something like 100 million dollars and at this rate nothing will be left this year.

Not a bear still a holder but is this bad....

"Polo holds a [5.2] per cent equity interest in Weatherly" From POL's annual report. WTI has a market cap of about £10M.
Because it's not clear to you, I will help you to understand . If you divide the number of POL shares into 5.2% of £10,000000 what do you get?
Here we go:
10,000000 times 5.2% is £520,000
£520,000 divided by 312 million POL shares is 0.0016 pence PER SHARE.
So let's suppose someone has 200,000 Polo shares. Some have more , some have less. OK, for the sake of argument, 200,000 POL shares. In theory, the WTI component of the value of those shares is about £300.
So what are you celebrating?
