04/9/2008 10:26 | fairfaxache I get it now...... I tried calling the company a few days ago but no answer.... either its a bit ominous or I have the phone number wrong (020 82827200)..... at least its not 'unavailable/disconn | adg
04/9/2008 03:42 | adg - Don't kill your wife because you are certain to get caught. In csi's case it might be a good option as it would save him having to worry about where the next meal is coming from. If you don't have a wife to kill csi, I think there may be some mutually beneficial business we should discuss :-) My handle came after a few years of dissapointing trading and I found myself saying something sounding similar to "Fairfax Ache" on a regular basis. For those of you who are finding this suspension a new and bewildering situation I feel sure that in the long run you will put it down to experience. It could stay suspended for years and years. I suspect however we will know the severity of the position within the next few weeks. F. | fairfax ache
04/9/2008 02:41 | going from the silence it seems people in there own way have agreed?! | csilondon
03/9/2008 19:30 | it may well be 29th Sept going from past performance n.b., this company has a habit of issuing any new information at the same time as results.... | csilondon
03/9/2008 14:42 | Fairfax, that comment by you made me chuckle for ages... one thing I have always wanted to ask you is where the handle comes from? | adg
03/9/2008 13:08 | monty77, PLW have been suspended for nearly 2 months now. Er, don't know the exact maximum time periods allowed but it can be quite a while... basically until PLW's financial position is 'clarified' and it can prove it has the funds to continue trading. Obviously, you would have thought that because PLW have basically ran out of money, then they need to resolve this one way or another very very soon (i.e. finding cash or calling in the administrators). But even with PLW suspended, they still need to release Results (which were released in Sept last year, so should be soon)... unless they call in the administrators before then. | ldmachin
03/9/2008 10:13 | Are there any rules on how long a company can be suspended for? What is this clock ticking at now? | monty77
02/9/2008 19:21 | Finding out who killed a wife must be the easiest job in the world! (this is the only reason I didn't kill my ex-wife) It's a shame you can't short trade on the outcome. | fairfax ache
02/9/2008 16:49 | CASE SOLVED HUSBAND DID IT !! No need to lock our doors, So pleased the Police came to the correct answer and quickly to; GOOD WORK BOYS IN BLUE | par12
02/9/2008 07:00 | If we get another dilution FOO must GO | par12
02/9/2008 04:28 | Yes LDM - I agree with your sentiments. Option 2. may cause a riot however option 1. is in line with my expectation. A 10-1 dilution would be an excellent result however a 100-1 is more likely. The last one of these I got burnt on was a 10000-1 dilution. | fairfax ache
01/9/2008 23:03 | It's not a question of whether or not shareholders have been screwed over here or not... it's a question of by how much... 1. The best shareholders can hope for is for massive new funds to be poured in to keep the business going... and it would take massive amounts for this business which has huge debts and little income... this would mean huge dillusion of existing interests which would mean that it would take 20 years+ for investors just to get their money back, if ever. 2. The worst case would be for Foo to take the business private from the administrators, to reap the rewards himself. Shareholders would lose everything, and it would be a double kick in the balls to see the captain of the ship run off with the treasure while leaving his crew to sink in to the abyss. Wonder what is taking so long to announce the inevitable... oh well, another month on the payroll for management so no rush... employees are preferential creditors after all! | ldmachin
01/9/2008 21:04 | cant even afford to go out & legal aid is useless! | csilondon
01/9/2008 19:13 | Hey CSI, sorry to hear your bad news. Do yourself a favour and stop waiting for the hammer to fall. In its present form PLW is finished and you have lost everything in that respect. Whatever is salvaged will be peanuts when compared with investment. You now need to get on with your life and manage your debt the best way you can BEFORE you are pinned up against a wall with no options at all. I wish you the best of luck however hope you will stop waiting for it to happen to you. F. P.S. Go out and find yourself a rich lady. | fairfax ache
01/9/2008 13:53 | im facing legal proceedings soon, so i really need some good news soon | csilondon
01/9/2008 12:58 | "The software for the entertainment industry also said it will place its wholly owned unit Bits Studios Ltd into Creditors Voluntary Liquidation." I never really understood why FOO did this; afterall; the products were release and PLW receiving royalties. Surely there was no finanical benefit to the company to formally liquidate; My be it will be one of the things Foo will explain if our news is Bad. BUT I can not believe that to be the case, not with a proven and working 3D Poker system. Can't wait for our good news. | par12
31/8/2008 13:51 | im sure directors will be taking notice | csilondon
31/8/2008 13:15 | Here is the lastest; I think Honesty is the BEST Policy with all types of Business. A judge later found Mr Foster had spent the previous months stripping Ulva of its assets and transferring them to a new firm he had set up called Ulva International. | par12
30/8/2008 17:37 | hopefully were right, isn't this against our human rights though? | csilondon
30/8/2008 11:42 | 2 bodies, this is madness, I am guessing its to do with fleasing his company, someone was very upset for sure. Just hope the Daughter is found alive. A very wicked world we live in. Anyway last night I was thinking FOO would never take 1 mil with a share issue off a Jewish bank and then use the money to pay off the companies debts. That would be madness, considering how much rent and expenses he has already claimed. No I expect the company to relist soon with a number of new deals. I certainly hope so ! for my sake as a small investor, after all this is 3D poker we have invested in and a MASSIVE global tournament is just starting. POKER IS ON THE UP, PKR have show 3D is the way forward and remember LADS is joining the microgaming network in 2009. NO Great Opps for current shareholders here with PLW | par12
