07/5/2010 13:32 | mm2 - look at their guidance on news flow. | the_doctor
07/5/2010 13:26 | the_doctor Hope your right mate. Am thinking of topping up more as this must be around 30-40% below cash levels now anyway so any buy around here should have multi bag potential. | themoneymonster2
28/4/2010 10:29 | Nice 1 PLNT. Now bring on the 3rd Q. | cockney sparrow

22/4/2010 22:19 | That's funny cause about 4 weeks ago Brendan Morris met with Simon Cawkwell and EK seemed to know quite a lot after the meeting REGARDING THE PRODUCTS, PARTNERS AND THE PATENTS!!!!. You here again trying to talk the share price down? My investment is based on a company valued at a discount to net cash with massive industry partners, recent director dealings and a market that can only grow considering M & S's intentions. | themoneymonster2
22/4/2010 18:04 | themoneymonster, I hope your investment here is based on a little bit more than EK says.... EK hasn't actually said anything about this company based on its positioning in the market and leads me to believe he doesn't actually know much about the industry or its competitors gg | greengiant
22/4/2010 13:13 | kooba - I read it exactly as you wrote it! You made out there was only a few months' cash left. You've admitted you accidentally missed out 'a year and'!! That's not me reading it wrong. I'll not bother going on, since you now accept that no fundraising will be needed until year end or early 2011 as the company says. | the_doctor
22/4/2010 13:06 | 800k share purchase would have been welcome, ie. 1% of the company. Still 0.5% between them isn't bad, 200k each at 9.2p, and you can buy below that now. EK expected deals in q2 2010, 6 weeks away, let's see what Brendan Morris (not brennan) has up his sleeves. | themoneymonster2
22/4/2010 13:04 | edited highlights doc..in context. you just read it wrong and now just bang on and on for no reason...get a grip it ain't my fault the shares are falling. kooba - 15 Mar'10 - 09:23 - 592 of 622 edit yes thay have got cash at the year end but they are still getting through $a8m a year and then there is the one off cost of relocating manufacturing facility estimated at a$3-5m...so when the management says they will need to raise more capital to see their strategy through then it is not a question of whether they will raise cash at these levels or lower...they may have no choice unless they can attract some meaning revenue pronto. themoneymonster2 - 15 Mar'10 - 09:35 - 593 of 622 They have 2 years cash left. kooba - 15 Mar'10 - 09:51 - 594 of 622 edit they do not have 2 years cash left.a$8m burn + a£3-5m upfront relocation cash cost and they have a few months left so a fundraise later this year at latest. | kooba
22/4/2010 12:54 | kooba - I agree with you and Brennan should go. Does not seem up to it unfortunately. So that you know I suggested by email BEFORE they bought the shares that in order to obtain/restore confidence, given a prospective placing/open offer, that they should (apart for the main holder) buy 1 million shares. | snowyflake
22/4/2010 12:50 | Kooba, you started out suggesting that PLNT had only few months of cash left. Now you're admitting that was a year and a few months, which is what I said in the first place and why I pointed out you were wrong. The company itself states capital would be raised early 2011 or end 2010. | the_doctor
22/4/2010 12:44 | read it! $8m cash burn [a year] and relocation cost $3-5m...means they only have a few months left after that[ie 14 months] of funding...thereby meaning a fundraise end of 2010 at latest as stated...jez i know doctors can't write but thought you could read!! if my comment frightened you then i apologise but others hopefully understood. anyway agree the director buys pointless..they have bought before and if they want to throw small amounts of good money after bad then up to them but has done nothing to inspire confidence [as it didn't last time] personally think if there is a fundraise [as they have alighted to] it should be accompanied by a shake up of the board. | kooba
22/4/2010 12:33 | 'did actually mean they had a year and a few months' quite a difference from your 'a few months' comment, which was wrong and seemed aimed at just spreading fear. I pointed out to PLNT that their feeble attempt at buying only served to show their lack of willingness to buy properly. Are they that naive!? | the_doctor
22/4/2010 12:17 | What the hell is going on here? I don't have a load but @12.25p it doesn't look good on the sheet! Any ideas anyone. DC | daicaprice
22/4/2010 12:16 | I think your timing is ok there. Potential positives in H1: - US grant to help cost of relocation - Expansion of K-P rigid film deal to other geographic regions - Completion of resin evaluation programme by leading global player. - Deal with leading global resin player - Contracts H2: - More on development of a new suite of resin products - Contracts | the_doctor
22/4/2010 12:01 | o good grief! | wolterix
21/4/2010 12:03 | Well EK reckoned that PLNT were looking to secure deals in the 3rd quarter of 2010 so not much longer to wait as that starts on 1st June, 6 weeks away! | themoneymonster2
21/4/2010 11:41 | my final 'average down' (wtf am I thinking) on this baby c'mon, sell stuff... | wolterix
20/4/2010 19:26 | Thank you Doc. | snowyflake |
