Successful registration of Harpin <ALPHA>ß in France

Plant Health Care(R) (AIM: PHC.L), a leading provider of novel patent-protected biological products to global agriculture markets, is pleased to announce that Harpin <ALPHA>ß has been successfully registered for use as a fertiliser in France by the Agence Nationale De Securitie Sanitaire (responsible for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety).

This is a major milestone for the Company. France is the largest agricultural producer in the European Union (EU) and this is the first registration of Harpin <ALPHA>ß in Europe. France is one of the few countries in the EU which has a legal framework for biostimulant products. Harpin <ALPHA>ß, under the trademark ProAct, has approval to commercialise in France until November 2030. Harpin <ALPHA>ß is a recombinant protein that acts as a powerful biostimulant, improving the yield and quality of crops. The Company sells Harpin <ALPHA>ß through specialist distributors around the world.

The mutual recognition mechanism will help expand the use of Harpin <ALPHA>ß in other European countries. Europe is the world's largest market for sustainable agriculture with annual sales of over $2 billion.

Harpin <ALPHA>ß has made significant market progress in the US and Brazil and, in the first six months to June 2023, sales of Harpin <ALPHA><BETA> grew 37% to $3.3 million.
