07/12/2023 16:07 | atlantic ... agreed but nav is still very tasty ... despite reality check imho plus their big owner is selling liquidity ... so derisked in a sense, safer | kaos3
07/12/2023 15:02 | It is a great pity that those who vote posts down don’t come on here and explain their point of view .I suspect the reason is that they can’t . In a forced sale I suspect the investments that Piri holds are worthless. So shareholders are locked into an oyster pot that they can only climb out of on a liquidity event . Otherwise it means selling at a loss.. | atlantic57
07/12/2023 10:02 | In the real world it would be very difficult to sell these share stakes for anything approaching book value. | atlantic57
07/12/2023 09:05 | If the nav is 4p then surely the discount is more like 75% not that it is much different from your=figure | atlantic57
07/12/2023 08:48 | Added 515k to average down, if the navs announced are correct then the discount is massive at 0.95p Pires Investments plc (AIM: PIRI), the investment company focused on next-generation technology, is pleased to announce its unaudited interim results for the six-month period ended 30 June 2023. Highlights Company highlights · Net asset value ("NAV") of £7,310,000 as at the period end (31 December 2022: £7,822,000), equating to a decrease of 6.5% since 31 December 2022, albeit against the background of a difficult technology market. · NAV per share as at the period end was 4 pence (31 December 2022: 4.28 pence) and so Pires is now trading at a 67.5% discount to its NAV. | homtanks

28/11/2023 07:42 | the difference Tern has is it’s assets are dealing directly with companies like Microsoft, Space X, Apple, top pharmaceuticals, Metaverse to name but a few, we can add many auto industry companies and global tech security companies to the list too. The Tern chart isn’t going to decide the value of Tern. What the chart is doing is highlighting an opportunity, show me another company with 4p shares and its assets winning awards from Microsoft and dealing directly with Space X on future projects? | bingoprize

29/9/2023 14:44 | Because it's assets cannot be relied upon to be anything but money pits perhaps. Just a thought. It also invests only in things that are not easily transparent like other investment companies. Usually with shared directors from what I have seen. All imho | andre
25/9/2023 11:30 | The assets are AI/Blockchain/Gaming | ellipses
23/9/2023 10:55 | Why is this Company trading at such a huge discount to net assets .? | atlantic57
