It's a bit of a mystery Pantsonfire but given that we are sitting on a massive orebody consisting of multiple base and precious metals, plus the 2 cobalt prospects, it can only be a matter of time before a serious rerating takes place and the share price rises by several multiples of where it is now.The reversal of globalisation which has been happening slowly over recent years is likely to accelerate as more governments, especially in poorer Asian, African and South American countries, seek to prevent foreign exploitation of their natural resources as their economies plunge due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.Being located in one of the safest and most mining friendly jurisdictions in the world is likely to become even more critical so we're likely to become increasingly attractive to the big US and Canadian miners who are struggling to maintain their operations elsewhere.

Well if it's that good it will get there in the end. Just a very quiet stock decimated by a seller.

There is 50k available at 6.4p online atm so we could move up providing the seller is now done

Has anyone else read through the annual report issued last week (link at the foot)? I have just completed my read, and have been blown away. I just don’t understand why this company is not flying. Let me pick out a couple of points.
The company has moved forward in leaps and bounds. The money from equity raising has gone into developing their assets, with a book value today of $11.6 million (compared to $5.3 million in 2018), and compared to the market capital today of about £3 million. These are audited numbers, with no impairment. Today’s share price is silly in comparison.
Phoenix are presently conducting the next drill programme on the high grade Red Star silver deposit, and they’ve even anticipated that Covid will not impact their programme. All the analyses to date point to high grade, high value and easy to mine mineralisations across their territory, and to being a low cost producer.
The fundamentals remain very solid. This is a company operating in a stable environment, with assets largely exceeding current share price, who plan to have production under way for end 2021, with a pay-back of under a year. This could be the opportunity of the century.

Thank you for your reply, I will continue to monitor this one, at some point there should be a bounce, it is all about timing and news-flow.

Good morning S-D. Happy Easter. This is old news, and we've been through this before with “thedebtcollector”. You’re not related are you, as your words and syntax look very similar? No, the Director’s did not take these funds out of the company, and yes, they are taking some as deferred. I’ll cut and paste Zaphod’s earlier response “It’s worth noting that much of the directors’ remuneration has been taken in shares, they’ve participated in the subscriptions and loan note placings along the way and none of them have sold any shares.” That period also included the IPO listing and associated incentives, and any rewards should be associated with that period and pricing, and not today.
I suggest you look at the overall picture with the work programme continuing, even through Covid, and production still expected for end 2021. I suggest you hold back any further criticism till you have some new facts. Meanwhile, I, like many others on board, believe that this is a solid investment, albeit undervalued. I’ve just topped up some more this week.

I find the director remuneration staggering for a small company, directors and a 'senior employee' took $935k out in 2018.

Currently PXC valued at about £3m.

Some AIM directors are deferring salary due to climate but not so at PXC, given the share price performance I am surprised shareholders have not demanded change.

Can see further dilution ahead, these factors stop me buying in.

Nice to see a few buyers. Incredible profit margins as always for the mm's in this stock, buying at 4.5p and selling for 5.7p+

9p cheaper than placing recently

Hi spacedust. You make statement of fact, except you left out the word "potential", if shareholders were to sell, which they are generally not doing. Let me also make a statement of fact. The crews are on site and continuing the drill programme, which is presently fully funded. Nothing has changed. This programme sees the project moving into engineering and construction, with production still expected for end 2021. I remain positive.

True but have you seem the volume of selling to halve the price recently.

Just a handful of small sales and mm's have bashed the price.

A little bit of buying and it would probably double easily.

The bad news is shareholders are sitting on massive losses, 40p > 5p bid.

The good news is that Phoenix are able to respect and comply with the various restrictions in place for Covid-19 which allows operations at Red Star to continue as scheduled.

I understand that the preparations for the additional drilling have been completed and it will commence shortly with results expected over the next few months.
