Interesting article in today's FT entitled "US backs infrastructure scheme to rival China's belt road"The US is aiming to capitalise on growing unease in Asia about the risks and costs of China's Belt and Road Initiative by unveiling a certification scheme that will set international standards for big infrastructure projects.

Very fortunate not to be totally dependent on copper.

your posting there and your not even a shareholder, so why i can't i post it here?

edit - i'll delete it if it makes you happy (and not post anything re ARS on here) but you do also repeat the same stuff about ROI as jurisdiction and as a non shareholder i would think that's also stupid and pointless?

I think you've posted on the wrong thread. This has nothing to do with Phoenix Copper.I suggest you post it on the ARS thread.

“While we evaluate PXC’s upside in more detail, our estimated DCF valuation for the first mine is 32p/share, and 49p/share using the company’s base-case assumptions.”

The above valuations are based on long-term copper price of $3.10/lb which is likely to be on the low side and it only accounts for copper and zinc from the early open pit operation.

It does not include the gold and silver from the open pit, nor does it include anything from the underground sulphides where the real value is believed to lie, nothing for Red Star nor the cobalt prospects.

Current lowly share price probably more to do with the ongoing depressed copper price and negative sentiment surrounding miners in general.

Mid-tier producers like CAML and KAZ also being negatively affected.

At some point peace will break out in the trade wars, the copper price will rise and sentiment will turn positive in the mining sector.

With low volumes in PXC, it seems that even modest sized trades can result in exaggerated moves in the share price

Everything continuing to go well as far as I’m aware so I expect in the months ahead we’ll look back and realise that the current share price was actually a very good buying opportunity.

What’s going on with the share price? I’ve been quite heavily invested in pxc for about 3 years now, and over that time this share price has been gradually falling.
Can anyone shine a light on when it might rise again?
