14/12/2013 14:09 | the new e spade detection equipment will go on sale in april next year. recent exhibition in Australia has bought a lot of interest from asia. new equipment seems to be Boris proof so therefore operator friendly and relatively easy to use. aibourne survey unit is working on a project to the affects of wind turbines on radio traffic . ie if there is interference with aircraft traffic communications | ntv
14/12/2013 13:36 | Gordon spoke of converting his loan stock but not sure if that is possible as there is not enough room to issue the new shares but it maybe possible for him convert half. I am somewhat surprised they did apply to extend the share capital. My own impression was that warehouse extension was completed out of existing cashflow and that because of the smaller size of contracts that cashflow was not an issue. I might be proved wrong but a placing would be stupid at this low price though I would be very happy to participate in it. the directors also have a lot of options which they also cannot utilise until the issue of the share capital has been looked into. my guess is an egm in the new year to sort those minor details including distributable reserves. by using share premium account. I am not sure on rules and regulations. | ntv
14/12/2013 09:35 | Glennborthwick, I tried the link but was unsuccessful (the 2009 pdf presentations appeared). Perhaps they are not yet up on the website? AGM - no mention of the director loans? Only long term issue is whether a placing will be required either for working capital (business expansion) or to repay some/all of the director loans/fees. Still the market value is far too cheap when the company is obviously in recovery mode gla | knigel
13/12/2013 20:28 | hxxp://www.pipehawk. Interesting 10 million quotations in place. Strongest order book for 18 months. Current succesful quotes to orders greater than 75% | glennborthwick
13/12/2013 18:53 | order book comprises of smaller orders rather than the larger ones of last year. I guess this better for cashflow and less reliance on a single customer. in the midlands there are a lot of smaller engineering and even logistics companies that need to improve their production practices and especially quality control. a lot of companies to have a lot of waste. improve this and it feeds straight to profit margins without increasing prices to the end supplier. they also have several blue chip customers such as catapillar and Panasonic MD talked of listening to customer needs and working them to build the system that a company needs. automation systems often need fine tuning to get them working to their full potential. so customer service with back up team to support the system makes sure they are their to help their customer when they need them. this adds value to a contract. even though warehouse extension is not quite complete it is being used. MD also praised the work force for their efforts during the last year. There also appears to be plenty of room for good old fashioned organic growth for a few years yet more to follow | ntv

13/12/2013 12:36 | a very interesting AGM. a number of shareholders there. Many of them long suffering unlike myself. meeting lasted about 1 1/2hours QM They have got about £10m of potential orders and would like to think they would get 50%. Double digit growth expected. Company accounts suggest growth of 15% in intangibles part. Margins being maintained. they currently appear to be working flat out. Warehouse expansion almost complete with just heating system to go in. more to follow | ntv
13/12/2013 10:16 | NTV or anyone else make it to the AGM? If so please let the BB know of any useful information that emerged from discussions. Today's announcement, just standard stuff, does lead you to the latest presentation on their web-site. | glitter2
09/12/2013 13:43 | I hope to make the agm on Thursday, seems lowly valued by the market despite its decent profits. this obviously due to the large amount of debt. QM business looks like it is growing fast judging by its expansion plans. plenty to go for as the economy slowly recovers. | ntv

06/11/2013 15:40 | Having read through the results every division except SUMO seams to be really doing well. Is it worth them getting out of loss making SUMO or is it worth persevereing for the publicity gained due to high profile stuff like Richard III dig. | glennborthwick

06/11/2013 15:30 | Thanks. Also trying to get my head around SUMO joint venture. Just had a very brief chat with pipehawk to find out relevant percentage. I must say I was very impressed with the positive attitude and quick ring back from the staff there. I know thats a totally miniscule part of it all but there you go. | glennborthwick
06/11/2013 01:15 | glennborthwick, The director already mentioned that they are doing well in new first half of 2013/2014. I believe that with QM System making revenues and generating profit for the company then its more than likely they will hit close to £1m. | zed2002
05/11/2013 23:46 | interims they made 83k, full year £583k. Does this suggest they might make over £1 million next year or is the second half always much bigger. | glennborthwick |
