21/3/2024 14:09 | Results for year ending 30/06/2020 were the best ever for QM Systems in terms of revenue and profits. Highlights: Turnover of GBP8.3 million, an increase of 23.9% (2019: GBP6.7 million) Profit before tax of GBP194,000, and increase of 1517% (2019: GBP12,000) Earnings per share of 1.69p, up 86% (2019: 0.91p) QM Systems has its best year ever both in terms of turnover and profit QM Systems is even stronger now and at 30/06/2023 had it's healthiest ever forward orderbook of £5.8m. Since the start of the current QM Systems has won two more contracts worth £1.5m. The current financial year will see the Start of Production (SOP) in three contract manufacturing business units with them entering SOP in Q1 2024. This in turn will create a business model that is not reliant totally on Capital expenditure project awards. Revenue continues to increase month on month as we head into the 2023/24 financial year and we have short/medium term visibility on a good return to profitability and stability. | ![]() z1co
21/3/2024 13:51 | The expansion in 2022 is taking off now: New lease agreement for QM Systems Limited PipeHawk is pleased to announce that QM Systems Limited ("QM"), one of the Group's principal subsidiaries, has signed a ten-year lease for a modern open space building at Hartlebury Industrial Estate - the largest industrial estate in Worcestershire, approximately seven miles north of Worcester (the "New Premises") at an annual rental of GBP263,000 with a rent-free period. The New Premises comprise over 44,000 sq.ft. of useable space, over five times the available floor space and approximately 80% additional office and commercial space when compared with QM's existing premises. The significant expansion is driven partly by a requirement for more floor space for QM Systems Project Business and partly by QM's expansion into Contract Manufacturing and New Product Introduction ("NPI"). The Ventive Manufacturing Business Unit will initially occupy approximately 9,000 sq.ft. and approximately 10,000 sq.ft. has been earmarked for further contract manufacturing opportunity which is at an advanced stage of negotiations. The additional space provides the platform to facilitate significant growth within QM over the next few years. Gordon Watt, Chairman of PipeHawk, commented "This is a very exciting phase in the development of QM, where we are able to retain all of the expert knowledge within QM and move the business into a much more efficient, modern and spacious working environment. The New Premises will house our ongoing project business to develop and manufacture automated manufacturing and test systems, which when combined with our own proprietary MES technology provide a leading edge No Fault Forward ("NFF") production environment together with our expansion into new contract manufacturing. Here we have already signed contracts with two clients and are in advanced discussions with a third. The first of these is expected to commence production in June 2022. In order to facilitate the growth of our business, QM is expecting to increase its workforce by approximately 70% over the next twelve months, providing significant employment opportunities to the local area, Worcestershire and surrounding counties". | ![]() z1co

17/2/2024 12:17 | The price i started buying again is not that important to you so i don't know why you're so interested in that , as you've asked me several times already it seems to me that it's nagging you. I started to buy the shares after their very upbeat AGM presentation on 21/12/2023. After a lot of research have bought more since. | ![]() z1co
17/2/2024 12:07 | So do I. But there is a need to for there to be a strong indication for them to shortly become EBITDA positive - No indication that PIP is anywhere near this at the moment. Again - What is your buying price? Just so everyone can see how long term wise you are. CSFS - Nice call | ![]() pugugly
17/2/2024 11:58 | Your quote " just keeping powder dry " It's so obvious you like to buy the shares at a lower price. | ![]() z1co
17/2/2024 11:53 | I like to BUY shares in companies that have started to trade strongly and the market has not realised yet of their strong trading. PIP falls in that category as does SUN and BOOM. Last year my similar research led me to buy CSFS in which the share priced increased by more than 5 fold in 12 months. btw CSFS also had an outstanding debt at the time but it's now cash positive. | ![]() z1co |
