Agreed, back to Palladium will be interesting to see what TOCOM and Shanghai/Hong Kong do tonight on Palladium, tomorrow Options Expiry could be a Strong Day I would think.

AMEX:PAL starting next leg up.
NYSE:SWC point 3 ITPDH

Interesting how brokers mark price down on a post to discourage buying, as any short person would I guess needing a seller to get stock from to settle with buyers.

GLOBEX Neckline Pd Bid Cash US$475 ish so may get to US$489 by GLOBEX NY close (475-461=14+475)

LCT, Prefer other solar co's for energy type plays. Like PVCS locally listed, also in First Solar. Each to their own though.

Besides Palladium looking at Uranium or rather similar. Can't make my mind up on Thorium Power as a long term play.

Rhodium has today hit 2,116.28% of Palladium Price ie Rh US$10,010 per toz versus Pd US$473 per toz

September PAU08 Pd Future hit US$484.85 (chart indicates circa US$495)

We are now trading into gap to US$510, with next target US$535.45 imo

How long until US$1,100 per toz per January 2001?

Yes I can see why, when Vladimir Potanin of MSE:GMKN and Interros get together and put US$217,000,000 into a Fuel Cell/Hydrogen Storage Equity (Palladium stores 900 times it's own volume of Hydrogen at Room Temperature)one knows sector is going up massively.

Tata Nano's Catalytic Converter refer post 65

The Nano's catalytic converter appears to reduce most pollutants by about 80 percent-not as much as the 99 percent Western models do, but still a big reduction.

Yes indeed, not sorry I stuck with the metal. I will keep an eye on the equities but I'm overweight non performing PM miners already. I want to see some evidence that they are going to move first. 500 looks like the next target and at this rate its not going to be long. At some stage I feel the mkt will twigg that the much talked about rate rises are a crock, then perhaps PD can break the highs of a few months ago around 550 I seem to remember.

Tim all looking Pretty Bullish Now PAU8 looks like breaking Neckline tomorrow or in fact has on sloping neckline basis AMEX:PAL already has, SWC looks like it is about to.

My Inverted Head and shoulders read neckline US$403.00 to US$467.10 is the logical next target now Inverted head and shoulders neckline breached ie roughly US$64.10 move to US$531.20 (US$64.10 plus US$467.10).

Presumably also this implies Palladium Producers are due a decent run up?

Yeah I agree with your intra day charts and the +ive divergence, but the dailys are throwing of warning signs.

Although PAL could be bullflagging! But we do have the RSI at 50 line resistance, and the 50dma to get over.

Meanwhile Palladium looking very strong.

I will not be surprised to see US$477.10 in September 2008 Future PAU08 today personally.

Re Producer charts it is the Inverted Head and Shoulders necklines that look like getting breached that matter.

Both charts appear to forming Intraday and Multi Day Cup and Handle Formations to me.

Yes agree with S. keep up the good work. The trend on PD is strengthening by the day. I will watch the shares but I agree with S. and am sticking to the metal for now.

I would be slightly hesitant buyin PAL here as we plotted a hanging man right at the 50dma with confirmed follow through today.

SWC still has to get the slow stochastic above the 20 line before I would consider.

LCT There is a good case for entering some of those stocks but as always there is inherent risk when buying the miner to cash in on the metal, ie not keeping pace with the gains in the metal itself, or having a catastrophe to deal with, such as was the case with Cigar Lake for CCJ.

There are a few more miners to spread the risk with Uranium and Gold etc, whereas with Palladium you are restricted, therefore your risk of not keeping up with the underlying asset is more exposed. Although admittedly you are compensated to some degree if something untoward were to occur by the appreciting price in the other few miners, but I would doubt they would be as much as the metal itself.

There was talk of an ETF by Barclays Global(although I have no trust in these)do you know if they have any dates for such? Because I hold a lot of my wealth in SIPPS and ISA's and as these ETF's are the only way to gain exposure to the actual metal, I might have to consider them for Pladium.

BTY I like the thread and find it very informative.
