Maybe Mr Caner has been side tracked ..or maybe looking to cause chaos elsewhere! The phoenix mine ! |
Even “very green” copper mines in analogous US territory took far longer than hoped for by the company involved. Florence copper mine/Taseko for those who want to look it up. |
I can’t see anyone funding anything prior to permits being granted. So the company will need to raise working capital to fund G&A for at least a year, into 2026? And when were mining permits ever granted according to the expectations of unfunded mining hopefuls? An analogous case I’m familiar with in Australia saw delays stretching into many years, due to cautious regulators and politicians not bearing any of the costs of sitting on the fence. |
Well. Have now listened to the interview. No formal permit application has yet been madeEnvironmental checks might be done next summerConsent might be in a years timeActual permit "early"2026Production mid 2026...that would be earliest. So the CFO saying the adit would be tunnelled over winter and the sulphides would be added to production from summer 2025 looks slightly off the mark.In fact it all looks off the mark and delayed and unless everything runs to the new timetable above and lets face it nothing has run to any timetable so far they will be lucky to be producing in 2026 at all. It's perhaps unsurprising that NIU don't want to give any more money when the company is a year from progressing permitting .Let the investors dream about the upside the company will worry about the problems...not sure that is meant to how it works. |
@kooba No, the focus is on running lots of things, concurrently, in the hope one of them advances slightly. That will give those who want to believe this outfit something to hang onto and champion. All will be rosy :D Hence the talk about partnering up with something very small but in production. Empire has proven to be such a doddle that they really need something else to occupy their time. |
Can one interpret from the interview and the shiny new presentation wherever it may be confirms that the company is now not in a “close period” still as the CFO informed shareholders following the results and are not in any way restricted in communicating with shareholders. Is the focus now on actually getting Empire up and running and not making excuses? Talking of excuses what is the latest from NIU ..have they managed to read the PFS yet? |
Basket case company
Avoid at all costs - how many more red flags are needed? |
Annoyingly, the website developer - Brighter IR - didn't follow the agreed instructions to switch over the sites at 7am. So the new site will go live this morning but isn't there yet. |
Seems like a chat not a presentation..but does it contain any new information? |
This is up on another site ..is this it?Came out yesterday morning it seems?hTTps://ionanalytics.com/insights/mergermarket/marcus-edward-jones-and-paul-de-gruchy-at-phoenix-copper-on-trends-in-the-copper-space/ |
24th JulyPaul de Gruchy, Vice President of Investor Relations of Phoenix Copper, said: "I've enjoyed working with the team at Phoenix Copper and am delighted to be able to contribute further towards the Company's success as we embark on the exciting transition from being an explorer to a producer of copper and other metals. We have a number of developments planned to improve communications with current and potential investors, and I look forward to implementing these in the coming weeks."5 months later.... |
brilliant. Can’t even get the link to their website right. A PR and operational disaster this lot…. |
Wrong web address. Incompetent. They missed out the limited |
Last Corporate presentation on their website July 24. |
So PXC .. 404 page not found |
unless there’s a material change in their cash balances they won’t even make it to 2026. |
Link to the new website works as well as the company....it doesn't lol |
Ooh, new website. And production hoped for in 2026. All depending on cash/funding. |
Did EXgen ever put in their 20% funding when PXC received the $5 first tranche? I keep asking questions about Exgen, but there is a reluctance to be open and transparent about their 20% holding in Empire. Some updated information from the BoD would be most welcome. |
Nobody is dumping lol |
