Pho enix Group Holdings plc - Board Changes

The Phoenix Group Holdings plc Board is pleased to announce that Eleanor Bucks will be appointed as an independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 December 2023.

Eleanor is currently Chief Investment Officer of Lloyd's of London where she has gained strong corporate governance experience as a member of the Lloyds Investment Committee, a Council of Lloyd's sub-committee, while responsible for the investment management of c.GBP14bn in assets globally, and investment oversight and leadership for the c.GBP95bn of assets within the Lloyd's market and capital setting for market risk.

She previously spent 15 years at Legal & General in increasingly senior and varied roles, whilst also developing her governance skillset as a member of the divisional Executive Committee, Investment Committee, Chair of the divisional Sustainability Committee, and Chair of the divisional Direct Investment Committee. In the context of life assurance, her experience includes investment management, risk management, customer solutions and operations. She is a proven leader who has a deep understanding of sustainable assets and ESG, and the development of alternative retirement products.
