17/9/2024 09:03 | I topped up yesterday at around this level and will do so again if we re test the low of yesterday. I think this will slowly recover the results loss as we head towards the next divi as in my opinion it was overdone. The yield on offer and the UK being mentioned as the market of choice right now in Europe, I think, means plenty of fresh money will find it's way here. Good luck all 👍🏻 | tuftymatt

17/9/2024 08:33 | I'm a bit concerned about Downticker. Already it's 9:30 a.m., and he hasn't been doing his thing since 8:51 p.m. yesterday evening. I hope that he is OK. Added later: I needn't have worried: Downticker is back at work. And he has drawn in three supporters on this post, which probably would make his day in the unlikely event of his revisiting this post. | meanreverter
17/9/2024 08:29 | Wow I’m so glad I’m not trading this. What a pointless stock to jump in and out of and worrit over daily. There’s not even any news that’s understandable enough to reach any conclusion about its likely movement. Something like RIO probably more suitable if that’s how you like to lose money. | yump
17/9/2024 08:29 | With the Divi hunters starting to arrive and an expected Fed rate cut on the cards I see this claiming back the 5% loss yesterday in the run up to Ex Div. | devonbeachbum
17/9/2024 08:22 | Jim, I think you can see where his head is at, but there's no toilet paper. Desist with her. | rongetsrich
17/9/2024 07:45 | Net I can't believe that you are that naive ? II was bought by Abdn thus indirectly Phnx will have a bit of an interest | jubberjim

17/9/2024 05:49 | Jubber, which broker(s) do you use and any feedback on them? | rongetsrich
17/9/2024 05:48 | The problem with that article is it's now outdated by the facts and figures from yesterday. The city mice have taken fright. | rongetsrich
17/9/2024 05:00 | Equal feelings of chagrin and relief at Phnx performance yesterday We now have just over 2 weeks until the price goes ex dividend so in the greater scheme of things not too long. Had left small order @ 545 but in the event close again but no cigar. I think the market is still very unsure and for that reason will continue to avoid any dealing until after U.S.A elections as I think that will give us the catalyst for the market to decide which direction to take. I will now shift my focus to Abdn due to that 10 % cross shareholding in Phnx but again is stuck in a narrow range with very little interest. Like a lot of us I have no clue as to which way this will go The dividend is very attractive but there is many a slip twixt cup and lip. I will say this Phnx keeps you on your toes. How high can it will it go or conversely how low Your guess is as good as mine but for now caution prevails. Good luck everyone | jubberjim
17/9/2024 03:19 | Investors Chronicle Phoenix Group offers 10% Dividend Yield - BUY "The results on their own terms were a qualified success as the company clearly looks on course to meet its target of cash generation of £1.4bn-£1.5bn for 2024 after generating £950mn during the half; organic cash generation was up 19 per cent to £647mn" Broker Peel Hunt said: “We remain positive long term on Phoenix, as its business model transitions towards becoming a broad-based pension provider, and the back book continues to throw off a significant amount of cash (cash yield c20 per cent).” We agree with that view, with the shares trading at 1.1 times tangible assets and a hefty 10 per cent dividend yield. BUY. | popit
17/9/2024 00:24 | A report from Aston University has found that the UK has experienced a significant contraction in the variety of goods exported to the EU, an estimated loss of 42% of product varieties. This, combined with an increased concentration of export values to fewer products, has serious implications for the UK's future exporting and productivity. The full daming report of the UKs prosperity can be read here: https://www.aston.ac | my retirement fund
16/9/2024 20:59 | Brigs has ended this company, no strategic direction, over hired during 2021-22 now got to scale it all back. What a loser | growthpotential
16/9/2024 20:48 | I believe the theory is this - as a premium user you can't down tick your own posts. On other boards you will see all posts down ticked except theirs indicating they are doing the down ticking - best to probably just move on | return_of_the_apeman |
