07/10/2009 19:28 | Well....i've never successfully bought at the bottom before, but I did buy on Monday. I've been watching PTF since the mention in Moneyweek about their discount to NAV. I like the fact that you can just let it grow. Invest and forget about it for a while if the economy turns/continues sour. The discount to NAV offers a cushion to further falls (at some point it will narrow). The USD exposure is also a welcome diversion out of the (likely) doomed GBP. I was waiting to see if there was any support, as the chart looks ugly, but I figure that at some point value will out. Good luck to any holders. Nice to see how quiet it is here. | gb904150
07/8/2009 18:15 | I bought in this morning 15000 shares. Risky yes but I like the look of the chart: five point move up 0.6 to 0.7. So if this is wave 2, then 0.6 is failure. If you look else where forestry is looking up. xswx:prwn (precious woods holding) etc. Anyway now i sit and fret. | matelot

21/6/2009 09:46 | Even more of a disaster zone. Management possibly too top heavy ? | pugugly
21/6/2009 09:36 | Anyone else starting to look at these now? | wonder boy
21/12/2008 15:54 | Look at satursay's FT very good and long write up in tabloid part. Good spot eh? | philo124
12/10/2008 12:10 | Looking a bit like a disaster zone for a real asset company. Anyone any views or know anything about the company? | pugugly
06/7/2008 08:24 | Timber becoming increasingly used as fuel and green building materials. Could be the time to invest in a small portion of trees. They are after all a renewable resource, and you will make a green investment which is all the rage. I haven`t chanced my arm yet though, but watching closely. Regards. | pip_uk |
