evening chaps, been a bit busy to contribute of late..
i was going to post how under 50p was the call and how the put
was a while away yet.. but i think the comment above - "build
a position and wait for the olympics" is superior and consists
of fewer words.. ;)
o/t, eric, what a sorry state is oxs, boohoo' ;))

Charles Ryan has been a Director of PGI for nearly two years and this is his first share purchase. Maybe he'd been saving-up all this time. lol

I have now decided to build a position and wait for 2011.

Sell before the London Olympics.

May you prosper mate. I've sold just over 20k last week to release some funds for elsewhere and on the basis that the share price did nothing post results so I'd be able to get back in for a penny more. Things can change as we may see tomorrow.

Hi erik,

Thats a very good sign. We will just have to be a little more patient. He is on the board of GAZPROM :

Ryan Charles Emmitt
Chairman of the Board of Directors & CEO, United Financial Group and that is
Deutsche bank Russia.

We are in good company here.

PGI Group non-exec director Ryan buys 250,000 shares in company.
LONDON (Thomson Financial) - PGI Group PLC said non-executive director
Charles Emmitt Ryan bought 250,000 shares in the company at 50 pence each and
thus holds a 0.19 pct stake in the company.

Michael Alen-Buckley, RAB Executive Chairman, said today:
"The increased investment this week by the Mittal family trusts and their
statement of support was welcomed and endorses the long term commitment of the
RAB Board to broaden our business. Our growth plans in coming months include the
launch of three new hedge fund strategies and further regulated funds,
capitalising on the success of our award-winning RAB European Dynamic Fund. We
continue to strengthen our distribution capabilities and to pursue acquisition
targets that would add to shareholder value over the longer term."
Interesting if he were a mate of Nick Roditi. Both are joint 607th in the FT Rich List. £80million a piece.lol. Interesting if Steve Wayne were a mate of Phillip Richards the CEO of RAB.

Erik - so, complete the arithmetic to the asset per share and projected share price in year 3 from here!

Yes. So the Fund is £50 million approx, fee income will amount to £1 million which should cover costs and then in say three years time maybe 20% of the initial Fund assuming intrinsic value allows, therefore another £10 million less the 8% for the investors equals £6 million in say three years.
