18/6/2015 20:43 | A potential to head into FTSE 100 in time? | wins73
18/6/2015 20:18 | I have just watched Watchdog and there was nothing on there to give cause for concern. They picked up on a couple of welfare issues and a problem with some of their literature on welfare which PETS are now addressing. | reddave999
18/6/2015 14:58 | proving resilient, though perhaps not altogether surprised it chooses this particular day to do it. | bumpa33
18/6/2015 14:54 | So much for this watchdog piece, maybe it's going to be complementary. | celeritas

15/6/2015 16:37 | Rolling over nicely, 260 target short term... | bumpa33
14/6/2015 21:39 | another thing - double bottoms work more reliably on a longer time frame, and at the end of extended down trends. Neither applies here, too easy to apply chart patterns in the wrong situations imo. But we shall see... | bumpa33
14/6/2015 21:34 | possibly yes, but i prefer longer term chart indicators to short term ones - open to interpretation i know but that chart to me on a six month time frame looks to be topping out. i don't like what i read about the business at a customer level, though it's anecdotal in nature and again open to interpretation. The other thing is the KKR sale, the remaining is locked in for 90 days but the ability to forward sell via derivatives is not difficult. | bumpa33
14/6/2015 21:05 | brave on you to short. Heavy institutional interest and buying, plus charts show a double bottom, more likely further upside in the short term before any pullback. | wins73
14/6/2015 19:31 | hmmm... what with the Watchdog feature coming up, the strong share price run over the last 6 months and a chart/indicators that look like they're topping out near term might be a decent short at these levels. Plus Reviewcentre ratings not inspiring... hxxp://www.reviewcen | bumpa33
12/6/2015 20:13 | hxxp://www.hamsterce this coming Thursday by the looks of it. | bumpa33

12/6/2015 12:51 | Thanks farmsted & standish. I think I will exit and let things blow over before buying in again. | gargleblaster
12/6/2015 11:13 | No. I saw your post and Googled to see whether PETS had responded to the Watchdog announcement. Never had any dealings with the company as I don't have any pets. | standish11
12/6/2015 10:52 | standish11 - do you work for the company? | gargleblaster
12/6/2015 10:46 | Tonight (Thursday 11 June) Watchdog indicated that they intend to feature Pets at Home in a future programme. Having received written notice from Watchdog as to the proposed content of that feature we are at a loss to understand how their observations are so far removed from our own detailed internal audits and those of independent specialists SAI Global, who formally audit every store, or from the local authority inspectors who check our stores as part of their annual licensing review. We have more than 7,000 colleagues at Pets at Home who are all pet lovers and who all believe passionately in what we do. At our heart is a belief that pets always come first and we are genuinely proud of the standards we achieve every day of the year in every store. But we are never complacent and we are constantly testing ourselves to see if we can make things even better. In that spirit we will investigate every one of Watchdog’s claims thoroughly. If we have fallen short of the high standards we seek then we will hold up our hand and take immediate action to put it right, and where Watchdog has got it wrong we will explain why. Our pets, our customers and our colleagues deserve nothing less. | standish11
12/6/2015 09:38 | Heard last night that Watchdog is to show damaging report on next weeks show having had undercover reporters in stores, could have found that the staff are only feeding the rabits once a day !!! | farmsted
10/6/2015 16:06 | Seems to be taking the KKR sell-off remarkably well - should be a good sign going forwards imo | gargleblaster
09/6/2015 13:04 | Good that such a large number of shares changed hands at 267p. | crystball
