If I were you stoopid I would try to ignore the wallywoo's on this board. Some people I believe are paid to post on here and of course their posts are always leaning one way and always try to ensure their post is the most recent and on display should anyone log in to read them. You will never get the last word.

Stoopid: It is just your posts and activity on advfn is seriously questionable:

1) you only post on this board and have been for years

2) This is just a small clip of some of things you have said in the last few days alone:

"POG's average grades are woeful
This is one of the reasons POX has to work.... half the ore they have is non refractory.... otherwise you can cut their alleged reserves in half....... another risk on top of the others
I believe that the results will be yet another damp squib
Popeye, part of the problem here is that for years POG could do no wrong, expanding rapidly, aquisitions, dividends etc. Was like a golden child....

Then they nearly collapsed due to debt and failing to hedge the gold price to cover POX etc. They also had a lot of high cost aluvial projects that were not financially viable. As you know, the fall from grace was painful."

If I felt the same way as you I would invest in something else (so would anybody). So I have to assume you are just posting to provide mis-information - In quite a clever way.

RANT OVER!!

No matter what you think I want POG to succeed. I hold about 500k shares. That's why I want them to succeed. 20p would be v nice thank you very much.

Seriously Wally, you need to wise up. In your rabid desire to make your predictions come true you keep waffling about everyine deramping, in fact you appear to have become fixated with it. Your infantile rants about the fact that no one but you is right and everyone is else is deramping are laughable...I genuinely thought you were asking a question about POG's ore grades as I have been at some of their investor days and spoken to them about the grades and and what happens regarding blending of the ore.Just because you don't like what others have to say doesn't alter the fact that it's true.Unlike you who waffles on about how debt must be down to around $500m.

All the boxes now seem to be ticked and there seems to be a more positive sentiment around. I think we might be about to move forward.

Stoopid, you don't miss a trick to deramp do you. I was referring to this comment in the full year figures:

"Due to high grade Andreevskaya ounces being deferred to the 2017 mine schedule, the Group's average processed grade for 2016 was 0.9 g/t"

Obviously this high grade ore has still not been processed (8-10g/t if I remember). There also have 600-700K ounces of high grade ore from underground over the next 6 years which should improve the overall grade mined.

tsmith: Gold miners are seriously out of favour currently again. Once that changes POG will react strongly IMO. Won't take long IMO

Think we'll get upgrades based on yesterday and today though some may wait to see underground take off.distinct change in tone, a lot going on. Exploration results towards end of may

POG have to process massive amounts of ore to get the production levels they do as the overall mine ore grades are really poor. A number of years ago 1.2g per ton would have been seen as not cost effictive production. This is one of the reasons POX has to work.... half the ore they have is non refractory.... otherwise you can cut their alleged reserves in half....... another risk on top of the others. That why it was nearly disaster when POX couldn't initially be completed.

Anybody understand the logistics of gold producing??

This is because I was surprised that the gold grade was still only 0.85g/t on the last qtr production. I thought POG were producing the high grade ore? Is it because it is the main winter months and they don't heap leach? Anyone

Juju, yes your right, my apologies.I just thought you were trying to put a negative spin on what seems like a bank enforced (and sensible) decision as part of the refinancing and development of POX and underground mining.

nail these and we'll be flyingGold production for 2017 is forecast between 420,000-460,000oz per annum, predominantly from open pit operations as underground production is scheduled to commence at Pioneer and Malomir in Q2 and H2, respectively, and ramp up gradually.-- Total cash cost (TCC/oz) guidance of US$600-700/oz and all in sustaining cash costs (AISC/oz) of US$800-900/oz-- Commence and ramp up underground production at Pioneer's high grade NE Bakhmut, with ongoing development. Further enhance understanding of high grade underground zones with reserve and resource infill and exploration underground drill programme.-- Commence and ramp up underground production at Malomir's high grade Quartzitovoye, with ongoing development.-- Complete construction of Malomir flotation plant (Stage 1) in preparation for refractory concentrate production and stockpiling at the POX Hub throughout 2018, ahead of commissioning in Q4 2018.-- Capital expenditure for 2017 is expected to be c.US$100m-US$110m including c.US$15-20mln exploration capex and US$85-90mln development and maintenance capex. Development capex is predominantly comprised of POX Hub and Malomir flotation plant expenditures.
