Bought in today - I see value here, circa £9m m/cap looks far too cheap, new management are making the right noises.

Folks may remember me from the 2006-2009 days, made good money from Petroneft in the past.

This is the interesting CEO comment with todays news. “This potential acquisition is consistent with the Board and Management’s previously announced commitment of enhancing shareholder value through boosting production, reserves and revenue. As early as next month the asset is expected to transform from being an exploration to a producing asset. This agreement will add significant impetus to our plans to develop the Licence.

The significant premium on the share converts reflects both PetroNeft Resources plc and Belgrave Naftogas’s shared view of the mismatch between the current share price of PetroNeft and the intrinsic value of PetroNeft’s underlying asset portfolio. We expect that Belgrave Naftogas’s nominated Director will combine international experience and regional insight to boost the financial and operating profile of our assets.

We will be working hard with Belgrave Naftogas to ensure that we close the acquisition during the first quarter

Okk that was the reason for that odd RNS yesterday...putting all their eggs in one basket I see...

I would have preferred another asset but I assume they have faith so let keep the faith with the new management!

Gd luck, I anticipate new financing soon.

Btw what happen to selling the other assets?!

My God, this is going North for the first time in years. We always used to moan about the BOD of this company and hindsight is a wonderful thing but WTF were they doing for so long with 10's of Millions of £s from loans, placings and the Indian JV.
