Well only another nine trading days till the AGM and hopefully an operations update before then. The volume of shares being traded in London is pitiful and not likely to change much in my view.We are stuck at current levels for a long time unless Natlata decide they want the lot or out. VGLTA

Crudde imo it is three things...underlying issue with ptr's track record and lack attractiveness for new investors, russian factor/sanctions and global oil prices.

Was reading an article re. Ovoca gold over the weekend. This company like Ptr is a Russian based Co. It is currently trading at about 2p per share which equates to under 50% of its net value...!!!! The author blames this shortfall in it's share price as been purely down to the "Russian Factor" So I wonder when it comes down to Ptr's share price how much of a Russian factor is in play...??

Surely they'll release an update on the well pre-agm?! Unless it's delayed or not great!

They said, Higher oil rates should be possible once the well has fully cleaned up of completion and drilling fluids. They didnt say it was a definite and didnt say the well would increase bopd between the 22/07/15 and 12/08/15.

Dbaron it's black and white, that they didn't explain why the bopd did not increase. Lol that you pasted the RNS to show evidence that is not there...

Kev .. In the 21 days between the two statements the bopd may have dropped a little, but not much.. The water cut dropped from 20% to 5%, a 75% reduction as predicted. They said, on the 22/07/15 the Well will be allowed to continue in this mode for a period to monitor its performance, which means they would be letting the well produce for a period at that level. They said on the 22/07/15 that the latest well test rate was 675 bopd which was carried out on 21/07/15. A well test rate is only a test as the name implies, it is not a stabilized production rate..

Dbarron, if you cannot see the glaring anomaly between the two statements you pasted you are either being deliberately obtuse or you are far brighter than everyone else here and can see no confusion where the vast majority of us can or there are technicalities most of us do not understand. Surely you can see that the fact we are discussing the confusion means there IS confusion?

ravin.. I cant see what needs explaining ? . It is in black and white.. From the operations updates 22 July 2015.................... The T-503 well at Tungolskoye has been successfully completed with a horizontal segment of 1,000 metres in the Upper Jurassic J1-1 horizon at a depth of approximately 2,502 metres TVD. Of the 1,000 metres horizontal segment it is estimated that approximately 663 metres is in effective net pay. The well was brought online on 14 July and the average flow rate over the last five days has been over 550 bopd (750 bfpd). The well is still cleaning up the long horizontal section and the water cut is now below 20% and continuing to reduce. The well will be allowed to continue in this mode for a period to monitor its performance. Higher oil rates should be possible once the well has fully cleaned up completion and drilling fluids. The latest test rate, on 21 July 2015, was 675 bopd (755 bfpd at 10% water cut). 12 August 2015.................. The T-503 well at Tungolskoye continues to produce over 500 bopd. The average water cut has now reduced to less than 5%.

Haven't posted for ages as I was in hospital for a few weeks. Can't believe we still in the 4p category. What will it take to move this share price along...?? I feel the only hope of an increase in the near term will be an approach from some entity and perhaps that bid may encourage a counter bid..!!! If not, it seems like we are set to bob along at this price for ever more. Cant blame a guy for dreaming or ARE WE been fairly valued at the moment ??

Dbarron, One seriously I've said that jk many a times and you always fall for it haha.Rns's are not clear. If bod want to flash around target of bopd, then breakdown the production levels in each RNS. If a well, t-50(3?), which a RNS stated it will increase in production post clean-up, actually falls...then explain why!?

ravin ... I have neither a connection with or am on the bod.. I have read every single post here and to be honest 99% of what people asked was in the RNS only they didn't bother reading them. I follow several oil companies and read their announcements and I can tell you that Petronefts are as detailed as any and more detailed than some..

Toonarmy I said that yesterday, atm it's about re-electing ptr bods. End of story. Dbarron, all due respect, whether you have connection with the bod or are one lol...the rns are not clear...just read this bb. No one is able to give a straight answer post rns's. There is always a weed hidden and goal post moved as a result. I would appreciate it if oil send a representative seeing as they are partners. Anyone going here?

LibraG, I originally replied mainly to this "Not sure about the Natlata history but they have my sympathy" and as such you'd be voting against the bod's resolutions. You've added substance to that position by stating: "Natlata are a major shareholder, who I understand have made aggressive moves in the past to influence the BoD." Whether I agree with your position or not, you've clarified yours. For the record, I think the Natlata background pressure, whilst not relevant to this AGM*, is a good thing. As long as they do not attempt a piecemeal takeover in the future by gradually installing their people on the board but rather threaten to buy out Petroneft, I have no problem with their presence. If the current bod remains in control I'd be happy, or if Natlata try a realistic buy out I'd be happy. It's a win-win for relatively short-term holders (post-summer 2013). *The only remote relevance might be that a tiny number of protest voters go against the bod thus reducing the passing of the resolutions from an absolute landslaide to a hugely overwhelming majority.
