08/9/2014 09:57 | The next RNS will tell a lot, if the old style of opaque news is again used we know that DF and PD are still steering the ship. Clear and factual newsflow has not been their style for a number of years. In view of PTR now being debt free it should also be easier to tell it as it is, no banking covenants to steer around.I do hope for good news honestly presented, that would really mark a new beginning for PTR and even a brighter future.VGLTA | ![]() seangwhite
07/9/2014 21:12 | We are all looking towards the future with renewed hope now that Oil India are involved. However as man1 states we are now a 50/50 venture and so every barrel produced now counts sooooo much more. New producing wells are only worth so much UNLESS they address the continuous slide in output from the existing wells... I hope as man1 states that it is a maintenance failure as opposed to a structural or pressure related problem...!! | crudde99
07/9/2014 21:10 | DbYou said that you thought the share price should be 10p at present, well as much as I would like that it would mean the 2p reserves being worth about $2 pb. But as we all know the Oil India deal placed a value closer to $1pb and we need a bit of good news for any decent rise.If T5 comes good we could see a rerating and with work on Sib an increase in P2 reserves both of these could get us to double digits.VGLTA | ![]() seangwhite
07/9/2014 17:18 | Everyone had to remember we have been here before , 500 bopd and share price will be x amount . Since then 50% dilution and 500 bopd less due to lack of maintenance of wells . Let's hope goodwill is factored in to any results .. | ![]() man1
07/9/2014 13:58 | Sean, the drilling commenced in 'late August' according to the Annual Report. Results are expected in 60 days (all going well - no pun intended). So we should see results in late October/ early November. There is no way of knowing what the results will be. Any predictions would be pure speculation. For those pinning their hopes on the T5 drill, I wouldn't get my hopes up too high. It should be ok but the T5 is only the start of a new beginning for Petroneft. The mid to longterm plans are clearly expressed in the Annual Report and these plans are what makes Petroneft a good longterm investment - especially under the watchful eyes of Oil India. At this stage I'd take any 3 figure bopd increase after the T5 drill. Regardless, the future looks bright. P.S. I'm aware my longterm hopes are scant consolation for investors who bought years ago (and were continuously let down by the BoD) and I wish them well but for people who only got in in the last 15 months or so Petroneft has been a very good investment. Hopefully, we can all gain in the future. | ![]() kevjones2
07/9/2014 12:07 | Well folks another few weeks and T5 vertical results should be known.Any ideas of what the output is hoped to be -100-200bopd or more?VGLTA | ![]() seangwhite
06/9/2014 20:12 | ravin - the $5m bonus relates only to Sibkrayevskaya. Look to Arbuzovskaya for short term production maintenance and, maybe, some uplift, followed by Tungolskoye production drilling next year. | steelwatch
06/9/2014 18:01 | Wow lol q1 2015, I was thinking after this t-5 well result...surely with this new method extract more oil, if, t-5 is a success and exceeds expectations say for eg 600bopd...there must be a re- rating for this stock based on the potential for the field...why would OIL have set 7500 bopd bonus target?!...personall | ![]() ravin146
06/9/2014 14:34 | If this ceasefire holds it will help western investors confidence which in turn would mean less shares on the market which would push up the price of this stock it doesn't pay to be to confident with ptr but I believe with a bit of luck we are coming out of the woods and I believe come q1 2015 this could reach 12 to 15 pence lol | telegraph1
05/9/2014 18:39 | Buyers back here more, all positive just hope this t-5 well does not disappoint! | ![]() ravin146
05/9/2014 17:45 | Nice to see more buys than sells for a change, that said the share price seems very stubborn and reluctant to move. Let's all hope that T5 will be viewed as a major success re. potential forward production rates. | crudde99
05/9/2014 15:42 | ^^not really we knew this few days ago and had no impact on share price. Good in the short term I guess. | ![]() ravin146
05/9/2014 15:18 | This should help..From the BBC's website..Ukraine and pro-Russia rebels 'sign ceasefire deal'46 minutes agoThe Minsk talks involve representatives of Russia, the rebels and the Ukrainian governmentThe Ukrainian government and pro-Russia rebels meeting in Minsk have signed a preliminary protocol to start a ceasefire, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko says.He said that the truce would start at 15:00 GMT. The announcement came after reports of further clashes in the east.Western countries are meanwhile working on further sanctions against Russia. The West accuses Russia of sending arms and troops to back the rebels in eastern Ukraine. Moscow denies this. The talks in Minsk, capital of Belarus, involve former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, Russian ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov and leaders of the self-proclaimed "people's republics" in Donetsk and Luhansk. They come after Russian President Vladimir Putin put forward a seven-point peace plan. | rockin robin
05/9/2014 15:00 | Sean.. In my opinion the share price should be at least 10p at present. We now have No Debt, And Oil India will be covering the cost of the following.... Drilling 3-5 production wells on Arbuzovskoye, T-5 & 5 horizontal production and 6 vertical production / injection wells on Tungolskoye, a 26 km pipeline to Tungolskoye, A 1,000 km Seismic Survey done on Sibkrayevskoye, Emtorskaya and W. Lineynoye, The 373 delineation well on Sibkrayevskoye and some development on the field. | ![]() dbarr0n
05/9/2014 14:40 | More buys. Buys showing as sells. | rockin robin
05/9/2014 14:22 | Db The shares seem to be fairly tightly held. There is apparently a buyer looking for larger blocks but cannot see many getting out now when the results on T5 are only a matters of over a month or so away. If T5 works well it will bring a lot of focus on PTR and we could even see double digits by year end. VGLTA | ![]() seangwhite |
