The JV a accounting really makes this difficult. Some things which are of interest. Oil India and Petroneft are looking at debt options to expand L61 activity. L67 has two layers to the Cheremhanskoye field, one tested one currently flowing perfectly. Cash operating costs in L67 are $5.7. Ledovoye is on the radar for development in 67 whilst L61 focus is on Northern hub with three targets. Reserves report nearing completion. Plenty of near term news flow on Cheremhanskoye including drilling contract awards and how they intend to sprite calue. 'The t

L67 commentary. There is a secondary area to target. That's the scalable part of the business

What exactly in the report do you think had led to this?

Somewhat surprised and disappointed at the market reaction although the financials are not as good as expected. Still, with the stated intention being the selling of the company the reserves report is probably the most important thing. I think some of this selling is down to the report not being issued at the "expected" time. People are inclined to take "expected" as a certainty and missing timeframes harks back to old PTR.

Maybe Oil India, who state they are looking for external interests, might buy PTR!!

I think selling something works better when you don't advertise that as Plan A and imagine that is what the new messaging is about. I don't think the strategy has changed unless of course there is no interest from buyers!

Not surprised by the drop. I was hoping to see cash levels higher than they are currently. There seemed to be some near term speculation built into the share price recently. On a more positive note, they say:

Independent reserves report commissioned (Miller and Lents), nearing completion.

This will be a key milestone towards a potential disposal.

I don't think they have any serious ambitions to build the company, but at least they have the option now to plod along and slowly develop assets they have without being distressed and having to sell cheaply to the first interested party. This should achieve the best outcome overall.

David does a good job in communicating all newsflow as positively as possible.

Whilst I am an admirer of David Sturts understanding of petroneft's complicated assets I hope we haven't deviated from the disposal strategy that was being pursued. I - like many others- have been here rather too long and would hope for a payday rather than a long slog to the dividend route. Is that the reason for the 5% decline this morning , or is it the disappointment that the asset revaluation isn't here yet ?

Morning all. Two things 1) L67 such low opex and now with potential to scale. 90pc owned. 2) cashflow - really required given the level of accounting non cash items that went through. Otherwise, forward looking plans look exciting to me!

The update was inline with most holders expectations and reserves report will come shortly. The company is going forward operationally and the oil price will give a great boost to finances in Q2. Still holding and pleased with the progress being made on all fronts by the company.

Cash operating cost progress is very good to see. If L67 can grow we should see operating cash flow build from here .

News "expected" by end of third quarter so not the end of the world if it's not tomorrow. That said, it is a Thursday and PTR love a Thursday RNS!

Best of luck to everyone if there is news tomorrow.
