Looks like a 50k sell trade at 2.55pm started the fall , did not take that much to lower it to 111.14p, just shows if you have the right machinery you can move stocks anytime you want.

Unless SFO act promptly and close their investigations, next headline could read:

"SFO colluding with hedge funds to destroy UK companies"

Thanks... I am not alone here against these wannabe spread betters who cannot grasp the law in that someone cannot be found guilty of a crime if they have never been charged.

One poster here (Pogue, or something like that) kept banging the drum about Dave was committing fraud under the noses of PFC. He cited that that made the company liable... In an ideal world, yes, but his google search (Because that is clearly what he did to come to that misunderstood synopsis) did not consider that if adequate procedures were in place then no case to answer..

This is why on the 11th we are going to see Dave sentenced..

We are currently 4 years into the SFO investigation and absolutely no charges have been made. Not against the company nor any current employees.

The SFO will only ever prosecute if it is in the public interest to do so and they have a realistic prospect of conviction.
Currently they do not.

Short position have ruined the share price and along with negative press carries on doing so.
When the SFO investigation was announced the share price took a hit, and has taken further hits everytime the SFO is mentioned. Its akin to this being the first time the news has been told.

I am very much looking forward to the sentencing as my hope is this will draw a line in the sand.
It will also provide opportunity for the SFO to announce that their investigation into bribery and fraud has resulted in a conviction and David will do "X" years, and the case has now been concluded.
They get their fall guy and an opportunity to publicly announce end of investigation without them getting anywhere (As was the case last week when they closed their investigations on BAT after 4 years with no charges bought)

Why would you go out in the rain?

I am the kind of guy that sees an opportunity to make profits and seizes it.
I am also the kind of guy that does get frustrated when ignoramuses disseminate falsehoods as fact.
I also get frustrated when these very same people try to rubbish companies all to benefit from their spread bet or CFD. Never likely more than £10 per point with a limit of £150
We are talking about a Multi Billion £ company whose corporate governance is one of the very best, not just within the industry but compared to all publicly listed companies.
I get frustrated when oiks like Ammu with their spread bets contribute nothing other than monotonous one liners like "I got a feeling"
I get frustrated when people with these convictions have never called and spoken to the company, very likely dont even know the name of the CEO or even where the company is headquartered.

Investing in the market can be ruthless, and unfortunately in this day and age we have to put up with know it all internet trolls.
I admit I have a problem with that and miss the days os buying stocks to invest and grow, as opposed to "I have only made 20 trades today so maybe Im doing ot wrong" brigade.

whites123..You are correct no charges have been levied against anyone other than the one guy being sentenced very soon on the 11th, shorts are trying it on, the A/Ts like you say are trying all they can to lower this, they know only too well not to hold up until the 11th so they try all the dodgy things under the sun to crash the price so they can buy back and clear.
All good fun will be nice to see the short squeeze here they deserve it.
