workers were threatening to strike due to rota changes ,its an industry wide situation and not particular to PFC , I was fortunate enough to have a norwegian employer and had a 2/3 rotation for over 20 years , those days are behind for most in the uk sector..

I've just read the article in The Times newtothisgame linked us to and am slightly puzzled. On the one hand the company is going out of its way to draw attention to the risk to the company of the SFO bringing further charges with dire consequences and on the other Asfari has asked for his $1.5m bonus to be paid (after tax) in shares rather than cash to demonstrate his confidence in the company. Is this the recently reported share purchase in his name or did he buy additional ones? Nobody on here seems unduly worried about this threat.

I note he has received a 16% pay rise bringing his pay to $2.3m and I'm blowed if I can see how this is justified in the present circumstances. No wonder workers were threatening to strike.

Beware of rising oil driving this share what goes up will come down. $70 a barrel is coming I said that it would a few weeks ago and it will but the consensus is oil will drop later in the year. Trump really does not like high oil prices.

Another contract win announcement will be well timed to keep this moving forward. Any reasonable SFO outcome will see any uncertainty removed and a share price well north of here. In the meantime, collect the dividend.
