29/3/2018 10:55 | RNS - contract | gersemi
28/3/2018 13:13 | Part of exec share plan but still positive | riviera1069
28/3/2018 13:08 | RNS says Alister Cochran CFO has bought 22,853 shares @ 507.58p. | bouleversee
28/3/2018 09:21 | In at 500. Hoping for a bounce now. Maybe a tad premature as might go mid 400s | riviera1069
27/3/2018 13:50 | Tree shake by MM looking to fill a big order IMHO - if it follows usual suit will be back to yesterdays close just before US market opens at 2:30pm Might be the last buy in opportunity at these levels for some time to come. CEOs purchase of £10mn has set a new floor at 500p and that now looks to be usurped by 520p today (having previously been a resistence level) Onwards and upwards !! | wolfhound1
27/3/2018 13:01 | Why down when market is way up. Or they all waiting 420. Lol | fishking1
27/3/2018 10:46 | bouleversee, the 2nd India contract was announced last week. The 1st contract was quite smallish about £100 mill if I remember right, may have been a break even/ loss leader type to get their India operations scaled up to take on bigger projects in future. | dragonsteeth
27/3/2018 09:56 | Today's Times says that PFC rose 20p yesterday after it won its 2nd contract of the year in India, a refinery modernisation project in Andhra Pradesh. I didn't see any RNS about this y'day. Are they late in reporting this and has it been noted here already or is this one we have missed? | bouleversee
27/3/2018 07:16 | The impact to share price of divi happened in the days after the results announcement several weeks ago.....those buying since have been doing so largely because of other reasons.... i.e. CEO purchase of £10mn of stock, contract wins, potential of a bid, etc.... This little gem is going due north hard luck if you are not on board or worse if you holding a short.....are you ? | wolfhound1
26/3/2018 22:49 | If that is the case why wouldn't people sell on the back of the recent rally before it drops at the ex div date and just go back in when the drop slows down. Surely the dividend will struggle to beat what can be made on the trading range between 400-500p. Unless of course they are worried about missing out on some big news...and think they might be able to have their cake and eat it as well. | scooper72
26/3/2018 22:42 | This will go back down to 400's after the ex-dividend date, most people are buying for the dividend. The normal cycle repeats itself here each time. | chelsea81
26/3/2018 18:06 | It won't get upto 700 levels until SFO comes to a conclusion. | oohrogerpalmer
26/3/2018 17:34 | This baby has clear blue sky ahead right up to high 790's - with nice daily increases of 3-5% it won't be long before we are at these levels !!! | wolfhound1
26/3/2018 17:15 | What are you talking about Lodge? PFC closing @ 530 3.92% and 20 points up... on a day when the Footsie fluctuates from 22 pts up to end @ -33.25 down... sounds like a pretty decent performance to me! | cybernest53
26/3/2018 17:09 | Up 20 , just under 4% , looks like a decent rise on the day to me . | dragonsteeth
26/3/2018 16:13 | Shame it hasn't held onto the decent rise. Darn it! | lodgeview
26/3/2018 14:45 | It looks to me like the daily percentage increase in share price is growing and now almost running at 3-5% per day over past week compared to 0.5-1% a few weeks ago. That indicates increasingly wider demand in the market - so it looks like the inner circle of those "in the know" have been chatting to their buddies over drinks...... looks and feels like a bid is v possible !! GLA | wolfhound1
26/3/2018 13:55 | I don't want to tempt fate, but...... At the rate it's going just now, it will be 600p before the end of March :-) | eimajgraham
26/3/2018 11:10 | Really hope so,pleased with the steady rise. | silver tortoise
26/3/2018 10:18 | Increasingly feeling like there ìs something brewing.....will it land before or after easter ? I suspect 600p could be a realistic share price by early April. GLA | wolfhound1
22/3/2018 19:29 | LONDON (Alliance News) - Moody's Investors Service on Thursday said it has changed the outlook on Petrofac Ltd's ratings to stable from negative. At the same time, Moody's affirmed the group's Ba1 corporate family rating, the Ba1 rating on the USD677 million senior unsecured notes due October 2018 and assigned a Ba1-PD probability of default rating. The stable outlook reflects Moody's expectation that Petrofac will continue to win new contracts and gradually stabilize its still shrinking order backlog through 2018."The outlook stabilization takes into account the improving trend in Petrofac's order intake during 2017 and in the first quarter of 2018, which was ahead of our expectations and indicates only limited, if any, reputational risk associated with the ongoing SFO investigation so far", said Goetz Grossmann, Moody's lead analyst for Petrofac."It further recognizes the group's improved credit metrics in 2017, such as a 2.5x Moody's-adjusted debt/EBITDA ratio, which provide greater headroom for Petrofac in the Ba1 rating category", added Grossmann.Shares in Petrofac closed up 1.2% at 512.201 pence on Thursday. | optmist
22/3/2018 16:57 | 1gw -thanks for that - that would indeed bring the entire holding up to 25% and enough to make sure no one can low ball a bid ...basically they need Asfari included/onboard | wolfhound1
22/3/2018 16:45 | And Credit Suisse is just [edit] one of the custodians/nominees for Hark PTC, which is the company Asfari holds a lot of his shares through, as I read the holdings notices. So the holdings notice and the Asfari director shareholding notice are talking about the same transaction. | 1gw |
