The UKOG financials actually look quite good here on Advfn.

UKOG, waiting for a profit dip but if the drilling numbers are confirmed or in the upper quartile of expectations then the company does have value and I would expect 10p+. It would also be a take over target. Problem is deciphering whether there is profit taking going on while new position takers are hedging for take over post good well results, whether the new money in over the last couple of days is hedging and won't be going anywhere or whether everybody is throwing the dice with a few grand each on a all or nothing gamble.

I agree re:madness to put big money in high risk Aim Shares especially if the share has just spiked up.
I have learned the hard way after losing heaps on various Aim shares.

Well, there is the 443 or so that you have been waiting for to get back in.

Unless Petrofac has one last try to break through the resistance,we are heading back down now to sub 400 and no,I am not a shorter.

I am holding and topping up when cheap.
Up or down,it is a win win situation with this dividend.

It is sheer madness IMO to sell an INVESTMENT in a FTSE company for a GAMBLE in an AIM share, but it takes a bit of madness to make/lose money. I'm not that mad though. UKOG is a disaster waiting to happen, it might take weeks or months, but the history of UKOG over the years speaks for itself. If you have the heart for it, by all means, go for it. Those who gambled with PREM are still licking their wounds.

I hope it drifts to the 440s so I can buy in, I haven't been able to buy in all day as its been stuck on 450. Missed the boat yesterday when it finished at 447p, would have made an easy 2% cash profit if I had bought in then.

Probably their last hurrah before May closes these monkeys down

No reason for these to be thus low, oil prices climbing above $50, sector in play, contract wins, bargain levels imho

Astra Zeneca looks good for a long-term ISA portfolio, plus they have declared dividend with an ex-div date of Aug 10th. The price is low at its lowest point the moment due to a bad rns, but it's picking up very fast. I just bought some for my ISA account, can't miss out on a good dividend and capital growth. Paid 4612p for it, I expect it to rise sharply to 5000p by Aug 10th ex-div day. Good quality newsflow will see it getting to the 5500p analysts forecast very quickly.

As for Petrofac, this should hit 442p tomorrow hopefully, need to buy in for my trading account. My plan is to trade this once before buying to hold for the dividend by end of this month.
