I think most sensible people agree the equity is worth maybe 4-5p but will trade higher until new stock is issued because of short closing pressure due to recalls and high borrow cost.

However let's talk about what the bonds are worth. They seem to be trading at 20c flat (no accrued now). However bond holders are being asked to put in a further $300m. My bet is that if they don't the bonds are worth zero. If they do then I bet they will command a huge interest rate and the interest charge on the $300m will be similar to the $600m existing sucking most of profits out of PFC post restructuring.

This will crash to 3p when the D4E is announced, that is if they manage to get this D4E which I somehow doubt now since it is also reliant on bank guarantees etc which are unlikely to materialise ..

SO THERE IS A 50% CHANCE I WOULD SAY THAT IT IS GOING TO ZERO

I told you all. Mnay months ago don't go against the shorters, they know something you don't but you get people like the whites and many others thinking they know better. Well those people deserve to lose money, I just hope they didn't suck in other investors and they have lost money too. D4e was on the cards due to the debt and now looks like it's here with shareholders getting wiped out. Probably be left with a couple of percent which means this will head. Alot lower yet and allow the shorters.to close.


I wish people would listen but the problem on these boards is there are far to many who talk rubbish and people are unable to spot them..

Just glad I wasn't invested here. There should be some people who hang their heads in shame never to be seen again and then again there are those to stupid to disappear after they get found out for being clueless

Mkt cap 78m now I doubt there is anything worth that going to be left after d4e and now we see why the shorters didn't close their positions. People ignore the warnings.

I actually think this is totally goosed. Better to go into admin and let companies pick the few good bits out of it rather than endless changes and d4e to oblivion. It's obviously been very poorly run

PFC is listed on the main market and, as such, has four months from year-end to publish its final results. "Year-end" for Petrofac is 31 Dec and hence the absolute deadline for PFC to publish its results is before the market opens on Wednesday 1st May.

Given that PFC can't publish its results, at that point PFC will be in breach of listing rules and have to be suspended, However, not until that point in time!

Adnoc, Petrofac win Excellence Awards

Abu Dhabi, 24 Nov. 05 (WAM) - The UAE energy sector has dominated the scene at the 5th 'Excellence Energy Award 2005' ceremony, held in Doha last night under the patronage of Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Qatar's Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Industry.

The award, known as 'oil Oscars', is organised by the Pipeline magazine.

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) won the 'Best in Health and Safety' category, while the Sharjah-based Petrofac was voted the 'Best in Industry Service'.

"Adnoc deserved the award for the commitment shown to provide a safe working environment, using all techniques that help maintain lower rates in incidence of work-related injuries. Petrofac was able to provide integral services in the upstream and midstream customers," said Eileen Michael, Publisher, Reflex Publish Middle East, which produces Pipeline.

And to think that the idiots running this company tapped shareholders for 100m just to pay a fine. The company would have been 100% honest if it had said "we can't afford to pay anything".
