Let me tell you about the Mongolian winter shut down period.

It will be several months until ground works resume.

Buck will conveniently use this as a legitimate excuse to drag out works until next year. What will happen to the SP?

In my honest opinion of course, but one only needs to look at Matad history.

Until there are solid evidence,

Eg: an RNS stating x number of oil sales, and it has generated x amount of income for MATAD, then I would not take anything they say seriously.

There will always be the next cxxx up for MATAD.

I am amazed to see so many negative posts by people who want to see the company fail, can't they read or is English not their first language, or else they would have seen this is an excellent RNS. Gobi was so cheap to drill it had to be a must and the jury is out on that on until testing.
Go read up the amount of oil in Heron then maybe take hike.

Good update today, Heron being put into production.
'MIMR has issued instructions to the Company to start production. Construction of long-term production facilities at Heron-1 has commenced and production startup during October is expected'.

' MIMR also issued instruction to Petro Matad to start oil production operations. The contractor, DQE Construction, is now installing the long-term production facilities with the expectation that these will be ready for production start up from Heron-1 within the month of October'.

' The Heron-2 stimulation and testing operation is now forecast to be complete in early November, giving a short window in which to put the well on production before operational activity is suspended for the winter'.

Good news indeed, production this month and in all probability Heron 2 will follow next month!

Production soon from Heron 1, and hopefully Heron 2 prior to winter close down... generating revenue... this looks like it is now moving to positive territory... Gobi can wait, production is what counts!

I have all crossed the Gobi result doesn't hit too hard... the luck is the Heron 1 & 2 production facilities...probably timed release of that info to try and offset the Gobi news - 20 mins to open and we'll find out.
