This company has more leaks than the titanic! How many times have we seen a 12/15% "pre RNS" surge and then not seen one?

Our Mongolian Executive Director and Head of Government Relations, last week attended the Eastern Region Responsible Mining Meeting in Dornod Province.

The meeting had over 200 participants including governors of Sukhbaatar Aimag, Dornod Aimag and Khentii Aimag, industry regulators, local companies and NGOs discussing how to improve industry communication and how local communities can benefit from responsible exploitation.

The well overdue LP surely has to be on the way, and with it hello 12-15p.

From the LSE board.

'I think next few weeks we should see the Land permit.

Just by the governor turning up to the mining conference and the local government signing a memorandum with mining minister should give you an indication that we are almost there.'

Edit: if it carries on like this we'll reach 15p before the LP arrives.

Have you ever dealt with the authorities in Mongolia? He has maybe learnt the hard way but at least they know him as well. What is new CEO who knows nothing about the local government workings of Mongolia going to be able to do that Mike Buck can't?

Anyway, share price is rising, not heading towards 2p, so maybe there is a glimmer of progress on the horizon. Goodness knows we could do with some positive news.

If he has the experience then why are we not seeing progress made? He's good at raising funds but terrible at delivering value for shareholders which is why he is in the driving seat. share price heading towards 2p, no positive updates on progress and winter setting in. Can't see how anyone could have done any worse than Mike? Needs change and new impetus to turn things around.

Not easy for anyone to come along and forge relationships in Mongolia! Things appear to be done differently there and Mike has the experience that others don't.

Given the constant drip down in share price looks like market is anticipating a winter of no news or oil and back to the waiting game to next spring for local government officials to decide whether they are going to do anything. I am hoping the share price isn't further eroded away due to the incompetence of the government.
This is a depressing outcome, could have been so different if Mongolian government had actually pulled their finger out

Let's hope so! Price of Oil going up again, the Mongolians are missing out on making a lot of money here. Ridiculous that we are still waiting, but it is what it is.
It will come.

Yes agree it is a waiting game but so frustrating, how long has paperwork delayed production at Heron, its been sat idle for so long now and we're about to lose another window. You'd of thought they'd want the oil flowing... revenue for them.
Joined up proactive government please!

All we can do is wait, and unfortunately the Mongolians obviously don't move at a fast pace. Just need the locals to be happy and then we can start producing some income.

It would be good to get some news here, are we being allowed to take heron forward whilst waiting for the quills to be sharpened and ink put on parchment scrolls?

End of the day, given the hassle they are also giving the Chinese, the take away from this is, dont invest in oil companies in Mongolia. Totally unsupportive.
