Going by the share price spike, Looks like some favours are being called between the company's broker(insiders) and friends in the city .. Wonder why!!

agreed and with these finally having discovered oil maybe they'll have other options for finance.
Wasn't it just over 800bpd at heron.

Pro, normally I would agree, but MATD has an uncanny knack of ramping the share price much higher and then doing a placing at much higher levels than the rally started at. I have a feeling we'll see the same this time around. Licence issue provides the lure. Shares move to 4-6p range then place in 3.5-4.5p range for example. When this starts to move up it happens very quickly and goes a long way without retrace.

They need to raise money.

Those that purchased in the placing at 10p will want to average down.

So MATD is a wait, wait for the placing whenever it is, which will allow everyone in from higher prices to average down, then its game on again with Heron production and appraisal and few elephant drills in Block V.

Just wait and have funds ready to pile into the placing, or just after the placing - whenever that is.

There will not be much happening in these this year, no chance of any drilling, only licenses and permits to look forward to, so any appreciation in the share price would be short lived, and decline over the winter months.
