Financials

Petro Matad closed FY18 with $2.1m of cash and $19.2m of financial assets, enough to cover its four-well 2019/20 exploration and appraisal campaign. Additional funding would be required to commit to an exploration programme and to support group G&A beyond 2020. We assume a short-term debt facility for the initial two years of development (over 2021 and 2022).

We assume a capex cost of $15m for the 2019/20 well programme including contingency but excluding overheads and PSC costs, with a cost of $3m for Heron, $3m for Gazelle, $3m for Red Deer, $4m for Velociraptor and $2m for geological studies.

Good discussion board.Without full permitting they have no legal rights to any oil and are thus worthless.That's OK because oil is dying anyway.Target price 0p.

We all know they are shorters.. However if matd strikes oil then they will be at loss as share price will shoot up. They will only benefit if share price drops. They dont control matd... They dont control the oil in the ground.. They dont control the drill.. And they certainly dont control the MM!

Never any informative discussions on here. Mainly weird people :0/ it's a high risk exploration share - some people can make a lot, some people (like me!) loose a lot :0( is what it is though, I hold so 'I' hope for an uplift in share price but I won't start telling people to do the same as me cos if they're shorting that's their call. Each to their own. Good luck whether your holding OR shorting...but play your own game and don't try to persuade others
