There are a lot of people who purchased millions of MATD in the 2p to 3p to 4p to 5p range.......tens of millions of shares less than 1 year ago.

All sat in profit.

A lot of them will have taken profits. I did. Purchased at just over 2p, sold at 6p, back in at 5p.

As I said before.........NEVER EVER in all of MATD dusters has there been a sell off like this before a duster. It normally gets pumped up on high volume one day then trickles down over a period of a week or two.

Never ever had such a massive sell off, and indeed, for what, the lowest CoS well of the 4 ? With Heron going into target zones next week and due for news 9th Sept ?

Most strange.

Anyway, as I said, I have not sold a single stock, and will hold the lot all the way to Gazelle getting to TD in November.

According to MB, unitisation with PetroChina at Heron would be half that, or less, so very cheap.

gaffer73. You may be right but the 3m+ sell indicates someone is off-loading larger amounts than most private investors have. Yesterday there were more buys than sells, or so it appears.
There may be a few scenarios, any thoughts anyone?
It could be:
1. People selling in advance of news through fear.
2. Big seller spooking everyone into selling.
3. Big seller spooking many to buy.
4. Big seller selling in order to buy at a small placing.
5. But why a placing, we were told there was enough for a 6 well programme?
6. Placing to fund for an extra well as there is oil at Red Deer.
7. Investors exhibiting sheep syndrome, or perhaps in this case, yak syndrome.

Any other scenarios?

alexios1201. In the region of $3m per well as I recall. Last year's wildcats were the expensive ones.

I never use stop losses. Been glad I never did after watching that RKH treeshake nearly a decade ago.....where the price was taken down 60% and knocked out all the stop losses before rising hundreds of percent back upwards.

What I find most strange this time with MATD, is normally on a duster they pump the price and offload.

The last dusters there has never been a drop like this. The big well for MATD is Heron - worth 18p and their best chance - and that will not be into target zones until next week.

So why after all the dusters and never a sell off, is there a sell off this time and for Red Deer which is their most risky well (lowest CoS) ?

Most strange, anyway, I hold, none sold. Wait for news. Expecting the worst but equally happy to celebrate success if that happens.

All the matters is official news, be it bad or good, so be it. But I will wait for it.

Directors selling shares without informing the market?

Directors gifting shares to others, then do not have to disclose that gifted shares been sold.

This is 100% a scam.

I wouldn't call it a scam but there is something seriously wrong here IMO.Similar things went on with Sound Energy many false promises and look where that is now on the ropes and going down the panDusters in the past with this share and nothing has changed so my advice take what you can out of it
